Three days had passed since Ava returned to Moon wood pack but it was the first time she was actually going to attend the training. Mason had been the one in charge of it but today was an exception.

Ava and Mason walked side by side on the dirt path leading to Moon wood training ground.

"How's the training been going these past few days, I heard the warriors of Moon wood are really giving you a tough time".

" The Warriors are doing their best for sure. But we still need tougher training. They're not really motivated."

"Don't be too hard on them. Remember, the warriors of Moon Wood aren't as tough as Starry Howler ."

Mason moved closer to Ava. "You know what's tough? How hard it is to focus on anything with you around."

"Don't flatter yourself too much". Ava replied, shoving Mason aside as she quickened her pace.

"Hey, I've been thinking about something these past few days." Mason said, changing the topic.

    After the victorious fight against the rogues, Mason and the other warriors from Starry Howlers went to scout the area to make sure that there were no more rogues hiding around before they finally head back to Starry Howler.Ava quickly took the opportunity to visit her uncle's old house which she hadn't seen for a long time. It was a small wooden house made of wood, with a roof that looked like it needed fixing. Flowers that used to be pretty were now dry and brown.As soon as she opened the door, it made a loud creaking sound. Inside, everything was covered in dust just like a gray blanket was spread over all the furniture. She could see her footsteps on the dusty floor.Ava felt her heart ache as she looked around the house. She still remembered the sad day her uncle left. It was a rainy and very windy night, her uncle was looking very worried as he moved from one part of the house to another packing some of his books into a bag.
