Chapter nineteen

CORA’s POV….

Walking out on Alpha Leonardo like that after giving him a huge piece of my mind felt like a great thing to do. I knew he felt insulted, and I was very proud of myself for being able to make him feel that way.

He thought he could insult everyone, put them down, and get away with it every single time, didn’t he? If I were here now, I would show him it wasn’t okay to just do that.

I sighed as I walked into the house, turning one more time to see him standing there. I couldn’t really see his face since I was now far away from him, but then I could see one thing, and that was the fact that he was very angry, and the fact that he kept on hitting the swing was evidence of that.

I had to admit, it really did hurt me to see him like that, and I had the mate bond to blame for it, but I had to endure; he deserved it after all.
