Luna's POV

I quickly pull out my phone and dial Cassie's number, my fingers moving with nervous energy as I think about the meeting with Maya.

"Hey, Luna!" Cassie's cheerful voice comes through immediately. "What's up?"

"I need you to meet me in a few minutes," I say, already heading toward our dorm building. "Maya invited me to hang out with some of the girls from the team, and she said I could bring you along."

There's a pause on the other end, then Cassie's voice brightens considerably. "Really? That's amazing! I'm so happy you're making friends so easily with your new team."

Her genuine excitement makes me smile despite my nervous energy. "Can you meet me at the entrance to your building? We should head over soon."

"Already on my way!" she says, and I can hear the sound of her grabbing keys and rushing around her room.

When I reach Cassie's dorm, she's already waiting by the entrance, practically bouncing on her toes with excitement. She takes one look at me and bursts into laught
