Ember Frost’s POV

I was frozen in place, my mind blank. Eira’s words strangely made sense, yet my heart refused to accept them.

“If all of this is just a trick, if someone wants us to freeze to death… then why create all these dangers inside the illusion?” I asked, my voice barely above a whisper.

Eira closed her eyes, the same way she always did when she prophesied.

“To slow us down,” she said. When she opened them, she still couldn’t see anyone’s fate. “Remember what I told you? I can’t see a

Ember Frost’s POV“Seriously?” I asked, raising an eyebrow. “I’m a princess, and he’s a military commander. Escorting me and keeping me safe is literally part of his job.”Freya pressed her lips together. "Fine. Since you're so determined to overthink everything, I guess we'll have to reveal it." I frowned. "Reveal what?" She nodded with a completely straight face. “A traveling dessert wagon.”I blinked at her. “A dessert wagon? That's your big secret? You're seriously trying to distract me with dessert?”Freya let out an exaggerated sigh and folded her arms. “You really won't believe anything until it's right in front of your face, will you?”She looked far too pleased with herself, like she'd finally found the proof she needed that Orion and I were more than just friends. I couldn't help feeling a little exasperated. Why did I practically hand her the answer? The more I thought about it, the more tiring it felt to keep pretending. Hiding something this important from the people c

  • Rejected by the Alpha, Claimed by the Crown   Friends, Always

Ember Frost’s POV“But you’re not just Ember anymore,” Lyra said quietly, still trying to make sense of everything. “You’re a princess. We’re just... ordinary people. Until today, we had no idea who you really were, and now we find out you’re the Moon Goddess herself...” She let out a small, nervous laugh and shook her head. “I don't even know what I'm trying to say anymore.”I smiled and gently stopped her before she could say anything else. Leading them over to the sofa, I handed each of them a chilled glass of pineapple juice.“Here,” I said. “Drink this first. The two of you look like you're about to faint.”Once they had settled down, I looked at both of them.“Listen to me,” I said. “Nothing has changed between us. There isn't an 'Ember' and a 'Celeste.' They're the same person. The girl you've laughed with, argued with, and spent time with is still standing right here.”I smiled softly.“Yes, my life is different now, and I have responsibilities I didn't have before. But I'm st

  • Rejected by the Alpha, Claimed by the Crown   A Crown's Weight

Ember Frost’s POVThe moment the cameras turned toward me and my voice echoed through the microphone, reaching far beyond the ceremony, I knew my life had changed forever.I watched the expressions in the crowd shift. Their shock faded into uncertainty, then slowly gave way to admiration, respect, and quiet devotion. The girl they had known as the ordinary Ember was gone. Standing before them now was someone else entirely—Celeste, the princess of the werewolf pack, a name that now carried authority, honor, and the weight of expectation. From that day on, there would be no such thing as living quietly. Like the cameras recording every second of the ceremony, countless eyes would always be on me. Every word I spoke, every choice I made, and every step I took would be watched, questioned, and judged. My life was no longer just my own.The ordinary life I had always taken for granted was gone. In its place came a responsibility I could never put down. When it was time for the graduation

  • Rejected by the Alpha, Claimed by the Crown   The Lost Princess

Ember Frost’s POVThe school officials had already taken their seats, but the ornate chair at the center of the stage remained empty. Unlike the others, it stood apart, clearly reserved for someone of far greater importance. The principal and the senior staff exchanged eager smiles and hushed conversations, unable to hide their excitement. The pride on their faces made it obvious how much they valued the King's visit.Today was my graduation. It was also the day the truth would finally come to light. For years, I had lived like any other student, blending into the crowd. But once this ceremony ended, that life would be over. I would no longer be just another graduate walking off this campus. From this moment on, the world would know me for who I truly was—Princess Celeste.I couldn't stop wondering what my life would look like after today.Everything was about to change, but I had no idea what was waiting for me on the other side. Would this new chapter bring happiness, or would it b

  • Rejected by the Alpha, Claimed by the Crown   The Last Night

Ember Frost’s POVTechnically, Lyra was no longer the theatre club's president. The position had already been passed down to one of the younger members after her graduation. Before she left the academy for good, though, the club asked her to come back one last time. Not as president, but as the director of their farewell performance. To them, it was the perfect graduation gift. They wanted to give her one last standing ovation and, more importantly, let her take the stage as the person they trusted most to lead the production they had worked so hard to bring to life.As the actress playing the ethereal Crystal Lake Maiden glided across the stage, Lyra couldn't help but smile. A quiet wave of nostalgia settled over her, bittersweet and warm, as memories of everything she'd shared with the club came rushing back."I really was lucky to meet someone who loves the same things I do," she said with a smile. "Honestly, when I joined the theatre club, I wasn't chasing some big dream. I only n

  • Rejected by the Alpha, Claimed by the Crown   Before the Dawn

Ember Frost’s POVThe academy had decided to split what had once been a single celebration into two separate events. Instead of cramming everything into one day, the graduation festivities would now stretch across two, giving students a little more time to celebrate before saying goodbye to campus. The graduation ball was scheduled for July 30, while the official graduation ceremony would take place the following day, July 31.As always, news traveled fast at Wolfsong Academy. With so many students coming from influential families, especially those connected to the media, rumors rarely stayed hidden for long. Lately, whispers about my true identity had spread across the entire campus. Curiosity only seemed to grow with each passing day. Everywhere I went, I caught people staring, lowering their voices as I walked by, their eyes following me with barely concealed curiosity.I didn't pay much attention to the rumors. Most of them were fueled by curiosity more than anything else. People
