Dana
When I woke up, I realized I was in my room.
I had a horrible feeling upon waking up. I remember having a terrible nightmare about my marriage: my nephew was Demian's son. My husband cheated on me with my stepsister.
I saw Demian standing at the foot of the bed. He was looking at me intently. There was something strange in his gaze. I noticed coldness, and I felt puzzled. Then, I remembered everything: My dream was not a dream. It was real. Demian did cheat on me with my stepsister, and she claimed that her son was Demian's.
I hurriedly got out of bed. I suddenly felt dizzy and had to sit down again. My eyes searched for Demian's to judge him for his actions.
"You!" I pointed at him.
"I don't think it's time for us to have this discussion, Dana."
"And when will it be the time?! You said you don't love me. You love her, and you've cheated on me with my stepsister in my own house!"
"Soon, this won't be your house, Dana," he confessed.
I looked at him attentively.
Could he...?
"Are you going to kick me out? You can't do that. We're married. This is also my house."
"It's my house. I bought it. And I don't want you here, Dana. After what I've found out about you, I don't want you here. I can't forgive you for what you did to Rachel. You made her son distance himself from me because you fell in love with me. It's disgusting," he judged.
"That's not true! I would never do such a thing! I didn't even know you two were together, Demian!" I felt desperate.
I needed him to believe me. But what was the use? Anyway, he cheated on me with Rachel. My husband!
"How can you say you love her? I am your Moon, Demian! Mother Moon has assigned us to be together!"
"I don't care what Mother Moon has assigned. I can't be with someone like you."
I looked at him with disdain. I couldn't believe it.
A month ago, Demian was the most romantic and charming man I had ever met. But today he was someone else. I didn't recognize him. I was afraid of the person in front of me.
My eyes were filled with tears. He seemed to have no mercy for me. His mind was poisoned with the lies my stepsister told him. Indeed, I never got along with Rachel, but I never thought she could do this to me.
I remained silent, crying. I didn't know what else to say.
Demian left the room and returned with an envelope. He left it on the bed and crossed his arms, looking at me.
"What's this?"
"Open it," he ordered.
I opened the envelope and took out the papers inside.
Divorce.
The word echoed in my head, and I felt like I would faint again. I never thought we would find ourselves in this situation.
I looked at my husband.
"You can't do this to me! Please, Demian, you have to listen to me. Nothing you believe about me is true," I got up from the bed and took his hands. But he recoiled in disgust.
"I'm not interested in talking about anything with you. I want you to sign the divorce papers."
Demian threw a pen on the bed.
"We can't get divorced. I don't want... I love you, Demian!" I pleaded. My dignity was on the ground. But I had to fight for him. He was the man I loved. I didn't want my stepsister to take him away from me.
"Sign," he spoke authoritatively.
I cried, but Demian didn't care.
His stance was firm and demanding. I closed my eyes and kept crying.
I couldn't look at those papers.
"Sign the papers!"
"Are you going to leave me on the street, Demian?" My voice broke.
"Do you want money? I'll give you the money. I don't need money. I'm the CEO of a multimillion-dollar company, and you won't be part of it anymore. I'll give you your money, and you'll leave my house. Sign the papers right now."
A horrible idea crossed my mind.
Did he want me to leave so Rachel could come live with him?
"Give me a few days to read the papers with my lawyers!"
It made no sense to keep begging for mercy because he wasn't willing to understand me. Anyway, he cheated on me with my stepsister.
What sense was there in staying here?
I took the pen with trembling hands. I could barely see through the tears flooding my eyes.
I didn't want to leave from here. I wanted to stay because I had the right to do so, but my pride wouldn't allow me. Demian made a mistake by trusting her, but I couldn't do anything about it. I wasn't going to allow such humiliation.
"Fine... If this is what you want, I'll do it, Demian. But you'll regret doing this to me," I pushed the pen onto the sheets.
"I won't regret divorcing someone I don't love. She's pregnant again. We'll have another child together."
I looked at him indignantly.
Did I hear correctly?
"Pregnant? You...? You got her pregnant?"
Demian's deception went further than I thought.
"That's right," he replied.
I looked at the papers on the bed and then back at him. Our story was definitively over. He ended our marriage. He destroyed it completely.
I signed the papers.
I wanted to resist. But I couldn't stay where I wasn't wanted.
"Happy?"
"You can stay here for a few days until you find another place."
He took and signed his part of the agreement.
Officially, Demian and I were divorced.
"I'll call you soon to arrange the formal rejection as Luna and Alpha."
He was going to reject me as his Luna...
I wiped away my tears.
Demian left the room.
I felt dizzy again. I didn't feel well at all. I think I was going to have to go to the hospital to get checked out. Something was wrong with me.
I called my assistant to take me to the hospital. On the way, I passed out again.
When I woke up, I was in a hospital room. My doctor walked in with a paper in her hands. Judging by her look, I knew she had news.
"We need to talk about something important, Miss Dana."
Dana I looked at the doctor. "Tell me what's going on with me. Am I sick?" "I wouldn't call it that, Dana," she sat beside me and handed me a paper with medical results, "Did you know you're pregnant?" I opened my eyes wide. My heart pounded hard against my chest. I couldn't believe it. Pregnant? For a moment I thought about it, but I didn't think my assistant was right. I got pregnant, and I had just divorced the father of my children. This was a nightmare. I was afraid of being a mother. I didn't feel ready. But something inside me changed when my doctor showed me my baby on a screen. It was a tiny spot inside me. "This is a baby," she pointed out. "It's so... small." My emotions were all over the place. I felt excited, sad, desperate, and scared. A baby is a huge responsibility, and I was afraid I wouldn't be a good mother to my child. I dreamed of starting a family in the future but with Demian. And an hour ago, he left me for my stepsister. Tears escaped my eyes. "You
Dana Demian turned around, waiting for me to say something. He crossed his arms. "What? What do you have to tell me?" I almost told him the truth, but something inside me screamed that it wasn't right. Something inside me begged me not to. So I remained silent and looked at him. Immediately, I felt guilty because I couldn't keep hiding from Demian that we were going to be parents together. I couldn't carry that weight for the rest of my life. But maybe the time to talk wasn't then. We were both angry with each other. We shot daggers with our eyes. We felt resentment. Each of us had our own reasons, but we agreed that we didn't like each other. He looked at me impatiently. "Are you going to speak or should I leave?" "Leave," I requested. "I have nothing to say to you," I finished and turned around. I went back to bed. Demian scanned me with his eyes and sighed. He looked so handsome. I wanted to run and hug him. My heart couldn't understand why he did what he did. Why did he do
Dana Her words dumbfounded me. "Are you capable of threatening me with death? What happened to you, Rachel?" "I can kill you. I don't want you to get in my way or Demian's. We will start a family and get married." Married? Did he already propose to her? I felt a pang in my heart. I didn't want Demian to marry her. He was the love of my life. I thought of Rachel's son. The three-year-old boy. "Have you understood, Dana?" She pulled my hair harder. I groaned in pain and let out a scream. "Yes! I understood! Let me go!" Rachel let go of me abruptly. I felt humiliated by her. "You better keep your promise. Don't make me shoot you. You have no idea what I'm capable of," Rachel reminded me. After all this, I think I did realize what Rachel was capable of. Rachel gave me a superior smile and turned around to leave. Maybe it wasn't a good idea to ask her questions, but the doubt was killing me. I needed to know. Could she lie to Demian about the paternity of her child? "Is it tru
Dana I picked up the bags with my belongings and got up from the floor. Rachel's gaze was still fixed on me. I wanted to say so many things to her, but I had to swallow my words. If she truly got enraged, Rachel wouldn't hesitate to hit me or harm me. Her crazy look made that clear. I almost ran to the door with tears in my eyes. I was tired of the injustice that permeated my life. I had to go to the hospital to get checked because I was afraid for my babies. Fortunately, everything was fine, but they wanted to admit me for a day to make sure. I had to refuse, even though I knew it was the right thing to do. If I didn't leave, Rachel would kill me. I had to buy a suitcase for the trip and went to see my mother. She had no idea what had happened in my life, and I didn't plan to tell her the truth. Mom would have a heart attack and would go to kill Demian if she found out. Mom suffered too much when my father left her for Rachel's mother. I decided to take the example my mother ga
DanaI entered a bar. I saw they were looking for someone to work serving drinks. I was never good with drinks since I wasn't used to drinking, so I had no idea about the types of alcohol or how to prepare them. However, I wanted to have a job. I needed it. A girl attended to me. "We haven't opened yet, dear," she kindly informed me. "I didn't come to drink anything. I came to look for a job. I saw the sign at the entrance and wanted to try my luck here." "Do you have experience with drinks?" "No," I made a face. "Then, I don't think you'd be suitable for the job. They're looking for a bartender. Besides, the boss wants to hire a man." I felt disappointed. I knew my job search had just begun, but I felt desperate. The money I had saved wouldn't last me a lifetime. Demian took everything from me. "Is there someone I can talk to? I'm not an expert in drinks, but I learn fast. Please, I need a chance." The girl made a face. "I'm sorry, but I'm not the bar owner, so I can't make
Demian Leaving Dana has been a very tough decision, but I was forced to do it after finding out what she did. After what Rachel told me about my wife, I was surprised by the woman I had married. I never thought Dana would be capable of keeping me away from our three-year-old son and threatening her stepsister. But that's what she did. So, I had to decide to leave her and found solace in Rachel's arms when I found out her son was also mine. When I saw Rachel's pain over what happened, I was deeply moved. I decided to protect her. Before I knew it, I had fallen in love with Rachel again and found myself in a secret relationship. I didn't like being cruel to people; I've been tough and treated Dana coldly with my actions. My hurting heart couldn't act any other way. It's been two months since Dana and I parted ways, and I haven't stopped thinking about the day I rejected my ex-wife. I don't understand why Dana didn't beg me to stay with her. Why did she agree to leave without asking f
Dana Two months have passed since Demian and I divorced. My belly was growing naturally, and the thought of someone finding out terrified me. The idea of Demian finding out through Jeremy terrified me. Jeremy and I had grown closer, but I still didn't feel completely trusting of him. Jeremy swore he was no longer friends with Demian, but I couldn't believe him. The person I trusted the most was Demian, and he betrayed me with my stepsister. Why would I believe Jeremy? Yet, he was so kind to me. Since I was hired at the cafe thanks to him Jeremy hadn't left the city. I knew he had too much work in the city where he currently resided, but Jeremy refused to leave because he wanted to be near me. There was a knock on my apartment door. It was Jeremy. I smiled at him. "And those roses?" I asked, seeing him with a bouquet. "They're for you," he offered them. "I know you like roses. I saw them on my way and felt like buying them for you. Plus, they'll serve for what I have to tell you.
Dana Jeremy left for the airport hours later. My work schedule started soon, so I got ready to go down to the cafe. I was lucky that Jeremy got me an apartment above my workplace. It was comfortable, and I didn't have to worry about commuting in the city. Now I understand that Jeremy helped me so much because of the love he felt for me. I always felt strange about the attention he had for me, but today I learned the reason. He was in love with me. I never realized it. Demian never told me. I didn't even notice that they stopped being friends because of it. The most surprising thing of all is that Jeremy discovered my pregnancy and didn't say anything about it. He respected my silence and didn't pressure me to tell the truth. My shoulders had one less burden to carry. I felt relieved to talk to Jeremy about my children because it was tough to hide my belly from him. Eventually, he would find out, and he did. Jeremy asked me to be his girlfriend. I told him I would think about it, b
