Chapter 39 - Hospital

Alpha Carter POV

I met Elizabeth and Kinsley at the Pack hospital. Tamara was walking out of Elizabeth’s room as I approached her. “What happened?” I asked. “She is dehydrated and a little dizzy from her exercises today,” she says as she continues to write something on Elizabeth’s chart. “Is she going to be, okay?” I ask her.

Stopping what she was doing, she looks at me taking my arm and moving me down the hall. “To be honest Alpha, I think you are pushing her too hard. She is not equipped to handle this much physical exercise,” Tamara says as we stop in a quiet spot in the hall. I look at Tamara shaking my head and muttering, “I have no choice.”.

“What?” she says distracting me from my muttering. “What?” I ask her confused and not realizing I had spoken out loud. “You said you have no choice. Why?” she asks me curiously. I hesitate to reply but she is Elizabeth’s doctor and maybe she can help guide me in getting Elizabeth to where I need
