"Eat! You said earlier that you haven't eaten yet, right?" Reynald ordered.
Riana handed the baby to Reynald, and the man immediately took it gently. In truth, Riana's husband was a good man, but his mother always made him hate her.
Riana walked over to the dining table, and noticed several dirty plates that no one had bothered to clean. This made her sigh deeply.
"I'll just eat first, and then clean all this up," Riana thought.
Riana smiled as she opened the lid to look for the food her had cooked earlier, assuming there would still be leftovers because her husband had told she to eat. Disappointment! That's what she felt when she opened the lid and found nothing. Just a few dirty plates with not even a little bit of leftover food visible.
Riana walked over to her silent husband with her head down. "There's not a single side dish for me to eat," Riana said sadly.
"Maybe Serly finished it earlier because she was very voracious," Reynald said nonchalantly.
"I haven't eaten anything," Riana whined.
"Just buy some side dishes to eat outside." Reynald handed Riana a red-colored bill.
With sparkling eyes, the woman took the money.
"For your mother only." Mayang's snatched the money from Riana's hand.
"But Mom. This money is for me to buy food," Riana said nervously.
"Didn't you eat earlier?" Mayang's said sharply.
"I didn't..." Riana's words were cut off.
"Rey, please add more. Mom, and Serly are going out for a while, so we'll leave Leo with you," Mayang's pleaded, making a pitiful face.
"Give the money to Riana, Mom. She said she hasn't eaten anything," Reynald demanded.
"She's already eaten a lot, Rey! Don't you trust your mom?"
Reynald sighed heavily, decided to remain silent, and gave the money as Mayang's asked. But when he took his wallet out of his pocket, his mother took all the money.
"Thank you, Rey," Mayang's said happily.
Serly, and Mayang left immediately without looking back. Meanwhile, Riana lowered her head sadly; her stomach was starving.
"Rey," Riana called quietly.
"You saw how mom took all my money, so just eat what is there!" Reynald left Riana, and went into his room.
Riana sighed heavily, and looked at Leo, who was playing with toys on the floor. "Leo, Auntie is going to the kitchen for a moment. So wait here, just for a moment," Riana said.
The baby, who could only sit, seemed engrossed in the toys he was holding. Riana left him after ensuring no objects could hurt or be swallowed by the baby. Then she went to the kitchen to find something to eat. Her stomach was aching because she hadn't eaten since the morning. Besides, it was late in the afternoon.
"What can I eat?" Riana muttered to herself.
Riana opened all the cupboards, hoping to find some noodles or eggs. But there was nothing. The oil and onions were gone, and only some salt and MSG remained.
"Should I make fried rice? Plain fried rice with no onions or oil, just make it as spicy as possible."
Riana went to the side of her house to ask her neighbor for chili, then returned to the kitchen to fry the rice without oil. It didn't take long for her dish to be ready. The woman brought a plate of fried rice to where Leo was. She wanted to eat comfortably while watching Leo without worrying about the baby.
"Mmm, this is very tasty," she murmured.
After only a few bites, Leo began to cry loudly. Riana put her plate down on the living room table. "What's wrong, honey? Why are you crying?"
Riana carried Leo, and noticed an unpleasant smell coming from him. "Oh, you made a mess, huh?" Riana chuckled.
She hurriedly took Leo to the back to clean his diaper. Just as Riana left, Reynald came out of his room when he heard Leo crying.
"There's fried rice." Reynald approached Riana's fried rice, and began to eat it. After one bite, he threw it up.
Crash! A plate being thrown echoed loudly, and reached Riana's location. The woman rushed to the source of the sound and was shocked to see her plate of fried rice scattered on the floor.
"Why did you... my fried rice..." Riana couldn't finish her sentence.
"Why? Because your fried rice is not tasty at all, that's why I threw it away!" grumbled Reynald.
"But I only ate a few bites!" Riana said, holding back tears.
"Just make it again! What's so hard about it?" Reynald went back to his room, taking Leo with him.
The door slammed shut. Feeling weak, Riana sat down on the floor, and stared at her ruined fried rice. "This was the leftover rice, and now I have to cook it again, but we don't have any rice left," Riana whispered.
The woman let her tears flow, unable to hold them back. This time, she was very hungry. If only she had money, she might be able to eat outside instead of begging for food from her mother-in-law or her indifferent husband. Riana decided to clean up the broken glass, occasionally looking sad. Her stomach was in great pain, and her body was still shaking from not having eaten.
When she felt it was clean enough, Riana sat on her sofa to lie down. She didn't have the energy to get up anymore; luckily, her husband had taken Leo to the bedroom, so she didn't have to worry about the baby. Besides, Leo cried a lot, which would surely exhaust her or even make her faint.

"Sleeping so comfortably, huh! Meanwhile, her husband is busy taking care of Leo, who is crying!" grumbled Mayang.
"Just pour some water on her, Auntie," Serly suggested.
Mayang hurried to the back to get a bucket of water, and poured it on Riana.
"Who?" Riana exclaimed in surprise.
"Get up quickly, and calm down Leo who is crying!" ordered Mayang.
"Useless woman!" cursed Serly.
Riana's patience was wearing thin as she continued to hear the insults.
"Why is it always me who has to take care of your child? Aren't you his mother? Where is your responsibility as a mother? Not only can you conceive, but you are not willing to take care of him! Oh, right. I forgot, your child is the result of an affair," Riana replied.
"Riana!" Sally shouted angrily.
"What?" Riana refused to back down.
"Riana, don't talk such nonsense!" said Reynald.
"But it's true what I said! Everyone knows that Serly got pregnant out of wedlock, you just don't want to admit it!"
Time has flown by. Mayang has a hard time speaking, and walking now because she stroke paralyzed the right half of her body. She's having a hard time doing things on her own these days. The woman needs help with everything, from eating to using the bathroom."I got married to live well, not like this!" Diandra grumbled.Diandra's been on a rant all day, and Reynald's had it."Shut up! It's also because of you that my life has become unlucky!" Reynald blamed Diandra for his own mistakes, his usual way of deflecting responsibility."Ugh! You're the corrupt one, why am I the one to blame?" Diandra glared at her husband."Yes, because I'm married to you, everything is messed up! It's different when you're with Riana, especially since you know your husband doesn't work, and still goes shopping, so all the money you have left is gone to pay your debts. Now you have to look in the trash for food!" Reynald was furious at the thought."It's your own fault for being corrupt, and incompetent as a
Wira was relieved. Now that Riana had a family to protect, Wira was going to start the plan today, but he had to go to work first so his father wouldn't be suspicious of him.Wira decided to go to his office to see if he could talk to Lia. He wanted to know if she had taken him or not. However, when he was there for half a day, he couldn't find her anywhere, leaving him wondering where she was."Two cleaning services were fired yesterday," one of the women in the corner said.Women love to gossip. They gossip anywhere, and at any time, as long as they have friends to gossip with. This was helpful for Wira because if he asked one of the workers here, him felt that he would be reported to Subroto. Now, the man wanted to avoid Subroto knowing what he had done."Yes, I'm also confused as to why she was fired. The other guy is clear—her was accused of stealing. This guy isn't. She name was Lia, I think."The more convinced Wira was of what happened, the more he thought that Lia was delibera
"Mutia, get two drinks over here!" Riana looked at Mutia just before she brought Wira into her room office."Okay!" Mutia replied. After hearing Mutia's answer, Riana quickly stepped into her room office, which was inside the restaurant. Her uncle's room was now her own. Riana told the man to sit on the couch, then she took a seat across from Wira because it felt wrong to sit next to the man. They were alone now, and it didn't feel good to be close to a man who wasn't her husband."I'm sorry, I didn't defend you yesterday. It was all because my father threatened that if I did, you would be put in prison, and there he would make you disappear without a trace. He really would do it if I didn't comply. I'm afraid of losing you!" Wira said this with a pleading face, and Riana believed him."Do you believe what your father said? I was the one who stole the folder, and I didn't even know that it was a big project that you guys were going to participate in!" Riana emphasized every sentence sh
Desi didn't know where Riana was going because her had nowhere else to go. When she was kicked out of Reynald's house, Riana didn't know where her was going."You already know, there is evidence, and witnesses who say that she was the one who stole it. Even Wira, and I found the folder in her room!" Subroto wanted Desi to believe his words so that his wife would hate the woman named Riana."I've asked you before, why did she steal the folder? If I were her, I'd rather steal the gold, money, or valuables in this house!" Desi emphasized once again that Riana was not the thief."Maybe, she knows the folder is valuable, and wants to sell it to a company that competes with us," Subroto said, not wanting to give up on convincing Desi.Desi remained silent, not wanting to argue with Subroto about Riana. Subroto was a stubborn man, so it would be impossible to convince him otherwise. Desi felt like someone wanted to ruin Riana's reputation, but who? Why would someone accuse a good woman like
"Uncle, doesn't need to do it. Let's just drop the matter!" Riana didn't want her uncle to get revenge for what those people had done to her."They've been mean to you, so I'll take care of it. You just need to watch, and don't get involved!" Edo was furious with all those people; he wanted to teach them a lesson.Although Edo, Subroto, the owner of a large, and well-known company, had some reservations, he was determined to get justice for them."It's okay! I've tried to be sincere with what they did. I don't want to hurt Wira's father. Desi's aunt, his wife, has been very kind to me, and Wira has too." Riana didn't finish her sentence."Does Miss Riana like Wira? Sorry if I'm interrupting this conversation!" Mutia guessed that she had been watching Riana.Riana smiled at Mutia, and nodded her head. That was the only response she gave now because when talking about Wira, her felt sad. The woman had just been in a relationship, and it had to end like this. Riana wanted to take their r
"Yes. This restaurant is now yours, as you are the rightful heir! Oh, and by the way, introduce me as Mutia, the manager of this restaurant." Mutia extended her hand, introducing herself to she new boss.Riana accepted her hand without saying anything, still thinking about what had just happened. She was still surprised that her parents owned such a fancy, and big restaurant. Was it true that her parents owned this place? Riana still didn't believe it, thinking it was all a dream."Miss Riana?" Mutia touched Riana softly because she had been talking to her but there was no response."Uh, y-yes!" Riana stammered, surprised that she had been daydreaming."Would you like to take a tour of the restaurant?" Mutia asked, offering to show her around.Actually, sir Edo had told Mutia to take Riana around, and introduce her to the other subordinates."That's fine. But where do I put my stuff?" Riana asked, embarrassed to bring in her shabby-looking bag. Her hands hurt from carrying the bag."O
