Cole POV

“Theft of what?” I exclaimed holding on tightly to Jessica. “She stole something of value from her father,” the Wolf Council stated. “What?” Jessica asked quietly. “A family heirloom. He wants it back,” the Wolf Council leader replied. “I have never seen a family heirloom,” Jessica responded, looking alarmed.

I believed her when she spoke and I felt the Wolf Council representatives also shared our concern. “Could you have mistakenly taken it when you were cleaning?” it was suggested. “No, I am not allowed on my father’s floor,” she responded, her face red with embarrassment.

“Perhaps it was mistakenly placed in your room?” another suggested. “This is her fucking closet,” I said as I stormed over to the closet in the kitchen. They looked at me confused, “This is what her magnificent father allowed her to have to store her minimal belongings,” I told them.
