Brendan couldn’t even sense her breath. This made him worried. Before he could recollect himself, he had strode into the house and rushed upstairs.

Every chapter I read I hope that the abuse of this women would stop. But no it does not. It seems like abuse is part of every storie I read story line. Its so sad. Abuse is so dramatic and for some one like me who has been subject to abuse this is both dramatic and discusting.
