Paige’s POV

“Let me go, Warren! You’re crazy!”

“I’m crazy about you alright. Ever since that day you sat outside that meeting looking at me. I don’t know what it is about you but I want to taste you so bad, you little tease.”

“You’re delusional. I didn’t even know you were there you creep! Let me go!”

Warren Grimes tightened his grip on my neck while putting his other hand on my waist. I dug my nails on his arm and he screamed, giving me a chance to move away from him.

“Paige!” I heard Isaac. Warren and I turned around to see Isaac and my body guards running toward us.

“Last chance, sweetheart. I can still save you from Holden.” He said while some blood tickled down his arm. I gagged knowing some of his flesh was under my nails.

“Here’s what you don’t get, Warren. I don’t need a man to survive this world. Now, get lost before I ask my bodyguards for a gun and I’ll shoot the shit out of you.”

“You poor ignorant bitch. Have it your way, then.”
