Alexandra continued her insidious steps towards them. She raised her cotton shirt a little, revealing a gun that was secured inside the holster.
"W-why is she taking out a g-gun?!" Ryan jittered.
"P-probably to shoot us!" Simon cried, tugging on Ryan's sleeve.
"We should head back inside," Ryan said in a low shaky voice. They cautiously advanced towards the door as if they were stalked by Raptor while bumping onto Kameron. Simon pushed Kameron outside the room and locked themselves inside for their dear life.
Kameron's attention directed at the woman, she let out an entertained snicker seeing those two cower in her presence.
"I wasn't expecting to see you here, Miss Winchester," Kameron remarked bravely.
"Neither did I." She replied unenthusiastically. Kameron noticed the plaster around her left arm that was decorated with bold letters.
"What happened to your arm?"

The hound stalked the man clad in a three-piece suit who was having a date at the Italian restaurant, the woman beside him smiled and giggled at her partner's banters. He had tracked down his pray all the way to Milan. Jonathan was quite fast on this one but Halton was faster. After about thirty minutes. The muffled screams of a male approached Halton. The floor squeaked as the man was dragged against the marble floor. Halton reclined on the antique sofa with his legs crossed assertively. The man had been beaten into submission, he trembled vigorously like a fish thrown out of the waters. The sharp reek of gasoline corroded Halton's nose right after the culprit was thrown under his feet. "You were having a nice date back there." Halton jested, the man did not utter a word. A powerful kick on the stomach flung the beaten man against the wall. He wheezed as blood spouted outside his jaws. He curled like an a
Evangeline woke up snuggling into the plush duvets. Just then, a bitchy headache plunged her forehead. She grumpily opened her eyes to register her surroundings. Suddenly the scent of musky cologne saturated her sensations. Her eyes widened at the man coming out of the shower half-naked. A towel was loosely wrapped around his greek god of a body. His onyx hair was sexily dripping wet. His freakish reddish-brown eyes smirking at her rumpled figure. He looked contented for some reason. "What are you doing in my room?!" She yelled at him. The hotel room she had reserved last night looked exactly the same as this. "Your room? This MY room you are in." Halton corrected, hastily dried his dripping hair. "H-how the hell did I end up here?!" She asked, and just then she felt the duvets brush on her bare skin. She lifted the blanket to discover her body was stark naked. Not only that, there was soreness between her l
Evangeline Wright strutted past the hallways leading to the Dean's office. Her heart thudded at the uncertainty of the unforeseen request of her presence. She hadn't done anything insubordinate nor had any ruckus with the professors. She was the prim and proper student of the school, always punctual and always polite. Then there was no reason to be so nervous about it. It must be something irrelative to that. At least that's what she hoped for. Evan gently knocked on the glossy door."Come in." The worn voice beckoned. Evan entered the spacious and ancient office to face the old man in his early fifties. The amicable smile made his face even more wrinkly. "Sir, you called for me?" Evan asked immediately. "Yes, I did. Have a seat, Miss Wright." Evan slowly took her steps to the chair opposite to him, keeping her back firm in a guarded position. She looked at him with attentive eyes. "What may be the re
"So shall we start with Accounting Finance?" Evan asked, They were in the Library and there weren't anyone but them present so they were free to talk about anything they want without any interruption from those crazy fangirls. The Dean had prohibited any unwanted entries in the Library when Halton is present. He was also quite shocked to hear Halton had agreed to sit his ass down to study something. "Sure," Halton said lazily. He didn't show much interest to start their session but he was here anyhow. "So how much did you cover so far?" Evan asked. She opened the thick textbooks and placed them on the table. She flipped through the pages, placing bookmarks on the important topics. "Nothing." He answered immediately. "Did you go through any of the subjects?" Evan asked, she thought he had at least tried to learn something but he didn't seem to care at all. "Not at all. I don't even know where my books
Just outside the campus gates, a tall young chap leaned beside his black cruiser. He earned queer glances from his female schoolmates as he simply waited for Evangeline to arrive after the prolonged club meeting with her homeroom professor. Evangeline had confronted the Dean about Halton's Dyslexia. Although Halton didn't like the idea he agreed since he needed some exceptions with his examinations. Soon, the news spread over like a plague. The girls that had once looked at him with bizarre admiration now looked at him with pity. They stopped the so-called 'fan club', so he won't be hindered by their interventions. Some lost interest in him after learning about his illiteracy. Halton, however, was unbothered by all this, all he needed was to concentrate on his latest goal and after that, he will finally escape this recurring college life for good. Since Evan took a long time to arrive, he decided to smoke. He opened his untouched cig
Three months of dating went inexplicably well for Evan and Halton.Even if the constant flirts from him distracted them from their sessions, they managed to get over with it and complete their tasks at the clock. After the studies are done for the day, they would take a long road home.A few more months passed like days, the examinations commenced and to the entire school's astonishment, Halton aced all of his subjects. Earning the topmost rank among his peers along with Evangeline Wright. And as a reward for their achievement, the school gave off another 50,000 pounds for Evan. The loud whistles and cheers dominated the graduation ceremony as Halton went up to the stage to receive his honors. He winked at Evan and then sat beside her in the front row. When the good news reached his father's ears, he graciously donated a hefty sum to the university. Alexandra wouldn't admit it, but this seventeen-year-old was feeling extremely proud of h
Two Weeks Later. Outside the closed charcoal black coffee shop, a young woman in a comely cherry dress stood glancing back and forth at the road. She peeked at her silently ticking mauve watch, it was already 6 pm. Halton is getting late, she hoped he was okay. She tried to distract herself from forming inauspicious scenarios in her head. He is Halton, he will be fine. The sky grew darker each passing minute, the streets began to light up in series along the pedestrian line. Abruptly, a shiver crawled up through her spine, all the way to her shoulders, making them jump. She was about to turn when a hand seized her mouth, cupping it, soon a caustic odor penetrated her nose. She grew hazy, the back of her head swaying back and forth until her sight enveloped into the darkness. When she opened her eyes again her mind went fuzzy but still functioning. Evan blinked, absorbing as much light as possible to register the d
The weather was unusually pleasant today, the birds chirping a morning song in the arrival of a new day. They were merry because they have survived yet another day on this earth making each second pleasant. This made her wonder how pitiful humans are, not a single day they can remain happy even though god has granted them a long lifespan. Even a dog can identify its own kind and the most intelligent creatures ever existed on this planet denies their own kind labelling them different in the name of petty things. She couldn't bring herself to blame them maybe that's what makes humans special because they can differentiate between good and evil. It is their choice which one they should choose but most times they didn't have a choice at all. This was the question she was obliged to ask herself. She was going against all blood ties to take revenge. If they were not blood-related would she ask the same question? What she is going to do is it right?
