—Zeke Pov—

The wails echoed through the grand hall of Emerald Villa, slicing through the silence like a knife.

Ophelia was on her knees. Her hair a mess, makeup smudged, and tears pouring down her cheeks like rain.

Whenever she spoke, her voice would crack with each sob, her palms clinging to the edge of my trousers.

"I swear it’s not me!" she cried, shaking her head frantically. "Zeke, please, you have to believe me! That photo, it’s not me! I would never disgrace the Frost name like that!"

I stood there, unmoving.

What exactly was I meant to say?

The moment I arrived here with her, the whole house had erupted. The moment the tabloids dropped the new scandal, every surface in the Frost home became a war zone. Photos. Rumors. Headlines. All linking Ophelia to some very wild nights in questionable bars with questionable men.

My mother was livid.

No. She was beyond livid.

  • Revenge After Divorce: Ex-Husband Regret    She threw the first stone, now it's my time

—Samantha’s Pov— We returned to the villa just past ten.The black gate slid open with a mechanical hum, and the warm golden lights from the entrance spilled down the marbled stairs like a welcome I didn’t quite feel yet. This place was beautiful—too beautiful, sometimes, for the kind of people who lived in it.As we stepped out of te car, Grace and Ryan were already waiting at the front steps.“You’re late,” Ryan teased with a grin, leaning against the doorframe with a glass of wine already in hand.“We had dinner,” I replied simply, tiredness weighing down my voice.Grace came over with concern lining her eyes. “Is Amore okay?”“She’s fine,” I said with a faint smile as I glanced back at the sleeping little angel in the car.The maid gently carried Amore inside and up the stairs, and I sighed, finally letting myself collapse onto one of the living room sofas. The scent of lavender and citrus still lingered from the air freshener someone must’ve sprayed earlier.Ryan retreated to

  • Revenge After Divorce: Ex-Husband Regret    Not Afraid

—Samantha’s Pov— The tension was silent yet intense. Veronica eyes fumed at me, I could see the barely restairnged anger before she turned and walked away gracefully. No one spoke as we all entered the dining room where the long mahogany table stretched far across the room. Already seated were a few members of the Montclair extended family, all the usual polished smiles and hidden daggers I remembered far too well. Amore sat at the far end with Grandma, looking a little overwhelmed but trying to act composed. She brightened the moment she saw me. “Mom!”I walked over and kissed her head. “I’m here, sweetheart.”Dalton took the seat beside her while I sat on the other side. Veronica took the head of the table, a picture of elegance and poison, of course, and the rest filled in accordingly. Silverware clinked, wine was poured, and the soft sounds of the classical music playing in the background filled the silence. It should’ve felt elegant.Instead, it felt suffocating.Throughout

—Samantha’s Pov— The hallway felt like it stretched forever.Dalton walked ahead without saying a word, his strides long and confident. I followed in silence, my hands brushing my skirt nervously. Something about the way he moved, so sure of himself, made me feel like I was walking into a trap I couldn’t see yet. Finally, he reached the large double doors at the end of the corridor. His office. He pushed one open and stepped inside.I hesitated for half a second before entering behind him.The office smelled like cedarwood and faint leather. Expensive. Masculine. Dimly lit by the warm golden light spilling from the floor lamp in the corner. A large, sleek desk sat at the center, and behind it, the tall window overlooked the gardens. The same ones I used to watch from a distance when I visited here years ago.Dalton said nothing at first. He walked behind the desk, unbuttoned his jacket and tossed it carelessly on the armchair nearby. Then, he leaned forward slightly, resting his ha

—Samantha’s POV— I hadn’t taken the driver with me today. I needed this moment to feel… in control. The road to Serenity Villa stretched like a silent promise before me, the evening sunlight casting warm hues over the hood of my car. Amore sat beside me in the front seat, her legs crossed in her seat, her soft blue gown fanned gently around her.She had her AirPods in, head bobbing lightly to whatever melody she was listening to. I glanced at her from the corner of my eyes. So carefree, so innocent. Her presence alone was a balm to my restless mind.Suddenly, she tugged one pod out and turned to me, tilting her head. “Mom?”“Yes, sweetheart?” I kept my voice calm, though my fingers tensed slightly on the wheel.“Who’s your special friend?” she asked for thr hundredth time, eyes round with curiosity. “You said someone wants to see me really badly.”I forced a smile, ruffling her hair gently. “You’ll see when we get there, okay?”Amore narrowed her eyes at me like she knew I was dodgin

—Samantha’s POV— “What?” I muttered in disbelief. From the couch, Maryjane suddenly screamed loudly, “What the fuck?!”She shot to her feet, phone clutched tightly, her expression horrified. Without saying a word, she marched over and thrust the screen in front of me.I took it from her and stared. There it was. A picture of me. On the balcony. With Dalton. My face—clear as day. His wasn’t visible, shadowed by the angle, but mine... mine was unmistakable. The moment captured looked intimate, like we were kissing. And to be honest, we were. The caption was brutal:*CEO by Day… Whore by Night.”It was posted anonymously, already shared by hundreds—no, thousands—of people. Comments were pouring in. Some called me a fraud. Some shamed me. Some said they expected better. Others just mocked me for being caught. My phone started vibrating violently beside me—call after call flooding in from different people. Investors. Press. Acquaintances.I didn’t answer.Instead, I handed the phone back
