I sighed once more as I looked at my reflection in the full-length mirror. I was wearing a tiny black skirt that barely covered my backside and an equally small top that left my breasts almost exposed.

The sound of the door opening caught my attention. Obviously, it was Masato.

He stared at me for a few seconds, analyzing my body, which made me blush deeply. Then he asked:

“What do you think of the outfit?”

“It’s too small,” I complained, trying in vain to cover the exposed skin.

A laugh rumbled from the businessman’s throat.

“You usually wear much less in your secret job, young lady.”

“That’s different. I’m always wearing a mask during those times… And you know very well that the Lady of the Night isn’t me.”

“Sure, sure,” Masato mocked. “Still sticking to that silly alter-ego story?”

“It’s not a silly story.”

“Anyway, I stopped by to let you know that your first test is about to start.”

“What do I have to do?”

There was lust and cruelty in the powerful billionaire’s eyes as he clarified:

“You’re going to the supermarket.”

I blinked, confused.

“I’m going to what?”

“You’re going to the supermarket,” he repeated, “and you’re going to buy a few things for me.”

“Is this some kind of joke?”

“Do I seem like the kind of man who makes jokes, dear?”

Before I could respond, however, he stepped closer to me… Well beyond the ideal proximity limit.

“You don’t seem very excited about the idea,” he murmured, his voice sending shivers down my spine. I swallowed hard, trying to ignore the feeling of claustrophobia threatening to consume me. And also the strange heat that arose in my body.

“I just don’t understand why you want me to go to the supermarket. I—”

“You’ll find out soon enough,” was Masato’s enigmatic response. He handed me a credit card. “Now go, we don’t have time to waste.”

“But what should I buy?”

“Go.”

With a reluctant nod, I moved away from the businessman and headed for the door, not forgetting to slip the card into my purse. I couldn’t shake the feeling of discomfort in his presence, as if I was always one step behind, being closely watched.

Walking through the clothing store aisles dressed like that was awful. Men stared at me with almost lecherous desire, women frowned and muttered insults, and an old lady nearly hit me with her cane.

As soon as I reached the sidewalk in front of the supermarket, my phone started ringing inside my purse. The caller ID read ‘Restricted number.’

“Hello?”

“How do you feel with all eyes on you?”

I tried to ignore the obvious anger.

“I’ll survive.”

“Great. Now go into the supermarket. Head to the fruit section. I want you to grab some bananas.”

I wanted to scream at Masato, but obediently did as he ordered.

Still holding the phone to my ear, I began scanning the fruits, searching for the bananas. A middle-aged man, slightly overweight, sweaty, and with unsettling light eyes, gaped at me when he saw me. He looked at me with lecherous, desirous eyes, and I ignored it.

As I started placing the bananas in the plastic basket, Masato’s voice sounded again:

“That man can barely contain himself. He’s crazy about you.”

“How do you know…? Are you here in the market? Are you spying on me?”

He ignored me.

“Now pay close attention to what I’m about to say. You have a stunning body, and that alone is a great advantage. But to seduce Thomas, you’ll need a very different approach.”

“But—”

“Pick up one of the bananas.”

“What?”

“Pick it up.”

Reluctantly, I obeyed and picked up one of the bananas from the pile, feeling ridiculous holding it in my hands. I looked around, feeling increasingly embarrassed.

“Good,” Masato said. “Now, slowly, start peeling the banana.”

With a resigned sigh, I began peeling the banana, moving slowly to reveal the soft, juicy fruit inside. I felt the blush of shame rise up my face as the people around me watched with curiosity.

“Good,” Masato said. “Now, take a bite of the banana.”

I did as he instructed. The man who had been staring at me earlier now looked deathly pale and sweatier than ever.

“Now go over to that man who won’t stop staring at you.”

“But—”

“Do as I say. I want you to seduce him, make him fall at your feet.”

With a lump in my throat, I did as I was told. I approached the man with a seductive expression, which made him nervously swallow hard.

“Hi,” I said, trying to sound confident. “You seem interested.”

The man nodded, his breathing becoming heavier.

“Yes, you… you’re incredible,” he stammered.

“Tell him to grab your breasts,” ordered the businessman.

Trying to suppress my growing disgust and anger, I smiled at the stranger.

“Am I? Then you’ll like it even more if you grab my friends here.” With my free hand, I cupped one of my breasts, purring like a cat.

Immediately, the man’s fat, sweaty hands grasped my chest. He squeezed and pinched, as if he were in a dream.

“See how he delights in you, Bianca.”

My heart began to pound in my chest. This was too outrageous…

“He’s loving it.”

Terrified, I noticed that some people were pointing at me. Some were taking out their phones. I was going to be filmed…

“Now tell him—”

I didn’t listen to Masato. I just hung up the phone and ran away, leaving the basket with the bananas behind. Tears began to stream from my eyes.

After finally exiting the supermarket, I decided to hide in an alley. Masato had no right to do that, to leave me at the mercy of that exposure…

My stomach churned with disgust. Unable to contain myself, I ended up vomiting in painful spasms.

Footsteps could be heard. Predictably, the man had followed me.

Wiping my mouth of the remaining vomit, I walked over to him and slapped him.

Immediately, the businessman grabbed me by the neck, throwing me forcefully against the wall. He immobilized me, and his dark eyes were filled with hatred.

“You’ll regret this, Bianca.”

We stared at each other with furious rage, our hearts pounding uncontrollably, the heat in our bodies rising… Even though he was a jerk, I still found him handsome. Handsome, wild, and…

In a primal, voracious impulse, without caring about anything or anyone, Masato kissed me violently.

"After you passed out, we managed to corner the old man who was hell-bent on taking my head off at all costs," Thomas began. "Then we got to you and saw you were in bad shape. The bullet grazed your head."I carefully touched my temple, finally noticing that a gauze bandage was there."I wanted to kill him right then and there," Masato continued, "but my priority… our priority was you. So, I smeared Thomas’s face with blood and sand to make him unrecognizable, and we headed to the boat where the Ravens were waiting for us.""And they didn’t suspect anything? Seriously?" I asked."No. I made up some excuse, and we slipped away. Afterward, I erased our tracks—or at least did my best—and brought us here.""But hold on. At no point did you guys explain how you didn’t kill each other the moment you were out of danger. I thought you hated each other."Masato scratched his chin."Well, we…""We talked about what happened. About Sheyenne."When Thomas said the name of their former girlfriend,

"You're only alive because she asked.""Funny, I was going to say the same thing."Feeling a terrible, pulsating pain on the side of my head, I tried to ask for a pill, but instead, I just groaned. The sound made Masato and Thomas quickly fall silent and come toward me."Bianca?" I heard Thomas’s voice, and someone holding my face, but a quick movement made the hand pull away."Hey!""Don't touch her," Masato ordered."I'm starting to reconsider whether I let you live or not, you worm.""Can you two stop, please?" I complained, trying to sit up with my eyes still closed."Don't push yourself too much," Masato said, sounding worried."Careful," Thomas said. Then I felt two pairs of hands on my shoulders and back, helping me sit up. I placed my hand on my forehead and winced in pain."I'll get you some medicine," warned the blue-eyed billionaire. I heard his footsteps moving away.A few seconds later, my other billionaire held my chin and asked, "Can you open your eyes?""I can." And th

A man in his fifties, dressed in the same attire as the Blood Ravens, entered the area where we were. He wasn’t pointing his weapon at us, though he held it in his left hand."I don’t know what kind of soap opera this is,” he warned, looking at Masato. “But you made a deal with us. The Hawk’s head is ours.”Thomas didn’t react. Masato looked confused, as if unsure of what to do. He glanced at me, desperate, but what could I do under these circumstances?!“Don’t let this happen,” I pleaded with Masato. “Don’t let them take Thomas. Please.”He didn’t even react. He just pretended he didn’t hear me.The silence felt heavy between us, like a silent threat. The Blood Raven man took a step forward, his disdainful smile illuminated by the faint light filtering through the trees. Masato looked frozen, as if every fiber of his being fought against some decision he knew he had to make.“So that’s it?” I shouted, my voice breaking. “You promised you were here to protect me, but now you’re going

Explosions and screams echoed around us as Masato and I ran, dodging debris and fallen bodies on the ground. The Royal Falcons and the Ravens were locked in an unending, relentless battle. The Blue Falcons, caught off guard, reacted immediately, but it was clear how exhausted they were.Worried, I bit my lip, wondering what they would do to Thomas. Had he already escaped to a safer place? I was genuinely concerned for him. As the man himself had said, the Blood Ravens didn’t take prisoners.Masato, with his focused and determined gaze, never let go of my hand, guiding me along a route that only he seemed to know.“We’re almost there,” he said as we ran, his voice muffled by the sounds of war around us. “The hidden pier is just behind those rocks. We have a boat waiting.”“Hidden pier?”“Yes. Thomas has a secret spot on this hell he calls an island. That’s probably where he’ll try to escape, though I doubt he’ll make it there alive.”I felt a knot in my stomach.“What if he survives?”
