LOGINNICHOLAS
A small smile tugged my lips as I made my way towards where Bryan had parked my car. I tucked my hand inside my pocket reminiscing about what she said earlier. This is not actually the first time I will be seeing Celine but I wasn't expecting her to end up in my bed and we were both drunk. I still remember everything vividly. The way her tight walls swallowed my dick, never letting go. Her cries, the moans that escaped her small lips and the way she rolled her eyes whenever I increased the pace. I wasn't supposed to go that far and I didn't use any fucking protection. Only one woman has seen this side of me and I cut ties with her years ago. I didn't expect my dick to actually stand last night and even now it's begging to get filled again by her. I shook my head slightly to snap out of it. I can't believe that I was merely thinking of her and I am already getting hard. “Nicholas, you are so fucked!” my inner voice gnawed at me and I shut my eyes. When I am back things will be different. I need to take care of this before Father gets to know about what happened. Bryan got out of the car and pulled the car door open for me to sit inside. “Drive to my place, we are going to Paris today,” I said and Bryan nodded his head. He is the only one who managed to get close to me despite my aloof character. He is literary my personal assistant and I don't trust any fucking being as much as I trust Bryan. Bryan knew me better and he is the only one I employed who stayed longer. When I settled inside the car, he got in and looked at the rear mirror. “Boss, do you really think it's great if you did just that? I thought you didn't want to marry anyone?” Bryan asked and I brought my glasses to see clearly before taking out the iPad and pen. “She is not just anyone, Bryan. She is the very first woman to reject me, which is something I found amusing.” I said and clicked my tongue. “Maybe she doesn't like you or something. It will be best if you just let her go I think. You can be with any other woman and it's good she is not even clinging to you.” Bryan said and I don't know why the last part somehow hit my ego. He is right. She is a bit clinging to me which is why I believe she is the right person. “Grandpa wants me to get married. If he likes her then there is no doubt I won't marry her” I said but deep down, I knew it's just a cheap lie. It's not entirely true but Grandpa did want me to get married. “Your stepsister will find an excuse to eliminate you. The lady might be your weakness.” Bryan said and I narrowed my eyes. “It's not as if I care about her that much so why would she be my weakness?” I asked Bryan but the question is more directed towards myself. “You might eventually fall in love. It's bound to happen if you two live in the same house.” Bryan said and I wonder how he knew so much when he never dated any woman. “If we can secure this deal, I will be promoted to the president and Jasmine will have to admit defeat. The real deal is getting this done Bryan. I will take care of her and love won't be part of this.” I said confidently and smiled. “Alright boss” Bryan replied and concentrated on driving. “What time did you say Mr Martins will arrive at the hotel tomorrow?” I asked him, looking at my schedule after the trip. I will have a lot to do so our wedding might end up being at the end of the month. “At exactly 8am boss. I have all his schedules.” Bryan said and brought a file. I took it from him and went through it. There is no point in asking him how he got it when I know the kind of person Bryan is. Somehow, he will always find his way around things. And once we get out of work, he will have to address me by name. I wonder how he managed to do that effortlessly. “Okay. I think you will be able to set up a meeting with him. Even if it's just once.” I said to him, Even tonight, we will stay at the same hotel as Mr Martins. “Alright boss. That should happen next week and you will be able to attend some of the events with him. You can start building a relationship with him there so that he will trust us.” Bryan said and quickly added. “He owns the hotel so I think we should stay there.” “That is not a problem,” I said and scribbled something down on the iPad. When I was done, I placed it on the space next to me and brought out my phone. ‘Celine Marshand.’ I searched the name up on I*******m and I saw it. Her profile popped up with her cheeks on full display. I clicked on it and dropped a like. And then I scroll down her timeline only to see a particular hate comment. I continued scrolling and I wasn't expecting this much hatred and yet, she didn't stop posting her pictures with smiles on her face. “Do people still bully others on the internet Bryan?” “Of course. Internet bullying doesn't stop and most of them hide under a fake account.” Bryan responded. “Do you think it's possible to take down those comments? And if we can find their identity, I would like to sue them” I asked him. “Of course it's possible…What?” Bryan asked with his eyes widened. “What are you trying to do boss? We need to catch the flight to…” “This is about my soon-to-be wife. You can do it right?” I asked him, not giving room for excuses. “Boss” *Just do it fast and we will get moving.” “It will take me up to one hour. We can just hire someone to do it for you.” Bryan suggested but I don't want a random stranger seeing those comments. “You should do it. And if you can't, I can just take it out of your salary.” I said, giving him an option. “I will do it, of course,” Bryan said with a big smile on his face and I tried not to laugh out loud. “And there is something else. I want you to find someone who can give me some updates about her. I just want to know where she goes and who she meets.” “Alright, I will make that happen,” Bryan replied. I sent Celine a DM on I*******m. I don't think she will accept my request because I only used a random name but there is something else I can do. NICHOLAS: I want to remind you that I didn't use protection last night. I am clean but I still wanted to remind you. I clicked send and a smile graced the corner of my lips. My phone beep and I looked at it, it was a message from Celine. CELINE: Fuck you, Nico! I laughed out loud, not holding back. I didn't know she was capable of cursing. What do you think about Celine and Nicholas? do you think Nicholas deserve Celine in this lifetime or another man will eventually claim her.
CELINE “I heard about what happened between you and Nicholas. Father is hellbent on marrying you to him even after I pleaded. I don't know why he is insisting.” Rachel said, her eyes filled with sympathy. It is clearly not her fault and I have a feeling that she might have heard about everything but the truth is, she is not the one at fault. Our parents are here. I can't possibly tell Rachel that the reason Father is hellbent on marrying me off is that he believes he could benefit from my marriage. The company is on the verge of collapse due to the goods supplied over the last two months, which have turned out to be of low quality. The company we supplied to is demanding a refund and I couldn't even stop it because it was too late and I am not the one running the company in the first place. “I know you must have tried your best, sister but I have decided to agree”, I said and Rachel shook her head, not believing any word I said. “What? I know you didn't want this Celine. I kno
CELINE Nicholas dropped me off at home and my car was already parked inside with Bryan still actually waiting beside the car. Though the security guards allowed him in, he wasn't welcome inside. They might have seen him as a threat. “I will see you tomorrow,” Nicholas said before getting inside the car with Bryan in the driver's seat. I didn't reply. I walked inside, frustrated. Ask for a very bad day and I will tell you it's actually today. I went inside my room and decided to take a shower. After taking a shower, I get outside and change my outfit. My phone was lying on the bed. I picked up and found missed calls from Thelma. She called me two times five minutes ago. Lying on my bed, I looked at the ceiling and thought about what happened today. Somehow I learnt that I didn't actually know anything about Nicholas. I might have underestimated him because with the way I am seeing this, I am afraid that I will eventually be the one at the receiving end. Maybe it's best if I just
NICHOLAS I stood in front of the glass wall and dragged in a puff of smoke from the cigarette. Yet, it didn't calm me down. This is the fourth time I will be calling Celine but she is not picking up. Today is the deadline I gave her and she obediently agreed that she was going to do it. Maybe she didn't say that and I was the one who brought it up. “Didn't you say she was with her friend?” I asked Bryan. He gave me the ashtray to dump the butt of the cigarette. “Yes. They tailed them until she got there” Bryan replied. I have to do this because I am afraid she will run away. In fact, she is capable of doing that but what Celine is not aware of is that I am not ready to let her go. But her not picking up my call, different scenarios ran through my mind. Maybe she manages to run away through the back gate or something. If I lost her, I am going to search every nook and cranny to make sure I find her. “Then why is she not picking up her calls when she knew she was supposed to gi
At least, I am not a celebrity so no one will at least capture this moment. I take one last look at myself in the mirror. The smoky eye makeup Thelma gave me. I took my purse and got out of the car after locking it. The stunning gown was a masterpiece of silk and lace, hugging my curves in all the right places as I stepped out, breathing in the fresh air. The deep blue colour brought out the sparkle in my amber eyes and the delicate straps showcased my shoulders. I smiled as I tried to go through the red carpet but then, I felt a small tug on my finger, making me stop. I yanked my head to the side only to come across Vincent. "Celine, are you trying to go without..." His words faltered and his expression was that of surprise and shock. I wasn't sure but at least I could see there was a small smile on his lips. "A date?" He questioned completing his earlier statement. He let me go and adjust his tie. "We should go in," He said, exhaling as if he didn't expect to see me he
CELINE I drove out of Celine's store and the car moved through the tiled road. I look at the necklace on my neck and even at night, the diamond stone dazzles, which leaves me speechless. Why would he even get me a diamond necklace and pretend that it is from a secret admirer? I decided not to think about Vincent's reasons for now. Instead, I drive safely to where the ball party is being held. This is going to be the last time I and Vincent will ever attend a ball party together. When I parked the car, the reporters were already at the front of the building taking pictures of all the celebrities who came in to grace the occasion. Rachel is not aware of all this, so I can't inform her either. She will only know how bad her mother is and that is not my wish. “Nicholas threatened me, Rachel and I know the kind of person he is. When he wants something, he always tries everything possible to get it. I hate him to my gut but I don't know how to get out of this. Everyone is in support of our marriage except me.” I said but to my greatest surprise, it was all in my head. I couldn't say it out loud no matter how I tried. I'm the only one who knows what he is capable of, which others are not aware of at all. God. Although in my past life the story was different, but here, everything seems to be changing due to the course of my actions. I am marrying Nicholas but it's not because I am weak. I want to show him that I am not the same girl he met in the past. “Sister,” I called and Rachel looked at me. Her eyes were filled with worry but I don't want her to feel that way. “Nicholas is not a scary man. I have
