CELINE’S POV“Celine wait. I think he is going to call your name. Nicholas might have made a mistake.” I heard my sister say as I ran out of the hall towards the exit.Tears streamed down my cheeks as I bit my lower lip to muffle the cry that threatened to spill out of my lips. The thick lump at the back of my throat made it difficult for me to swallow, but I kept running, not looking back, even as the heavy rain poured on me.“Oh no. Just stop Celine. CELINE’S POVMy heart beat wildly against my chest when I realised this was happening again. The past is going to repeat itself and I might make the same mistake twice, which is something I will never agree to. I remember what happened after I tried to run out of the room. Father came just in time to meet us here. We came for a party and I left because I got humiliated by my friends in college. I was about to leave the restroom to breathe in some fresh air outside when I stumbled across Nicholas in the hallway. CELINE'S POVI got to the hall before I eventually came across Nicholas again. He was talking to someone who I believe must be one of the businessmen but I don't care. I walked after him but he actually turned in time to see me.“We need to talk,” I said and he arched his brows as if he didn't hear me but I know he did.“Please give me some minutes.” He said to the man and walked towards me. He caught my wrist and pulled me forward. Strangely, I didn't feel repulsed by his touch.
