Chapter 501 Arrival

The battle raged on. About more than a handful of the Flames' fighters had died, but the rest pressed on, undeterred.

"More than twenty of you and only three of them! Useless, all of you!" an old man said. He was gaunt and had an abnormally small head, but his eyes gleamed with an evil gaze.

He looked at the fallen fighters coldly and sneered. The old man turned into a blur and leaped into the battlefield. Noticing a black silhouette quickly coming closer amidst the fierce battle in the hall, Sofia shouted, "Look out!"

She leaped backward, swinging her daggers. Blasts of energy charged ahead, but they didn't hit the old man. He chortled and spread his palm, from which green needles shot into the air.

Shocked, Sofia quickly held her weapons before her, defending herself. The needles were deflected, but one of her comrades was not that lucky. A couple of needles hit her chest, and she spewed black blood.

The lady convulsed like a possessed woman before falling to the ground. A momen
