Tony Hall was at it again. He had come to the underground casino hoping his luck would change. He owed so much money to just about every loan shark in town. Tonight he had once again borrowed money from yet another loan shark to stake his night in the casino. His luck was bound to change, right? It had been a few weeks since James Blain and his father had been arrested. They had been tried and convicted of extortion and embezzlement. Both were given 20 years in prison. The rest of the Blain family were still in a state of shock. As a result of the lawsuit, Rick's RBG Group had been given all of the Blain family assets. It included the accounting firm that Debbie's father had started. So to help support the honest members of the Blain family, Rick and Debbie decided to reopen the firm. They changed the name to RBG LLC to avoid the reputation that the old firm had been plagued with after the fall of the Blain family. Debbie became the chairman. Rick and Old Wilson helped her reorganise the firm and together they were determined to run it as honestly and with as much intigrity as possible. They had planned a big opening ceremony. After Debbie and Lois had come through the front gates of Silver Hill, Lois was all excited. She had dreamed of one day passing those gates into the paradise that lay beyond. As they turned into the drive at Ting Gap, she was even more impressed. The grounds were exquisite and the villa was palatial. When they got out of the car the door was opened by the Butler Li Fan. He said to them "Welcome home Madame Green. And welcome to your guest." As Lois walked into the villa, her mouth dropped open. She had never seen anything so opulent in her life! And this is where my daughter lives? Impossible! Bulter Li Fan then said "Madame, the Master is waiting for you in the family lounge. Would either of you care for a before dinner drink?" Debbie replied "Just tea, thank you Li Fan." Bulter Li Fan showed them into the family lounge and brought Debbie and Lois cups of tea. Many of the marriges in Fing City were arranged. They were more in the line of business deals among the more wealthy families in town. Therefore, most of the men had multiple affairs on a regular basis. The women too, for that matter. Although they may not know who their spouses were sleeping with, it was just a fact of life that they were sleeping around. The women were expected to produce at least one heir, then after that, most husbands didn't give them another thought. As for the men, a unique aspect of this was that a housing area was developed over many years to accommodate their mistresses. A gated community was build to protect their identity and to close them off from prying eyes. Many of these households had bastard children, offspring of these illict affairs. Some of these mistresses even had nannies and other servants working for them, depending on the wealth of their lovers. This development was called Wong Manor. But privately most people called it Mistress Hill.

Debbie was proud of herself. She was proud of the progress she had made in reorganising the firm. It had taken several weeks to secure new employees and department heads. Each had their own strengths and were working together toward a common goal. Which was to make the new RBG LLC a success. A lot of the old clients came back, which gave the firm a solid base to grow from. But just days away from the opening ceremony, Debbie still needed a good project manager. She had asked the HR Director to compile a list of posible candidates. They planned to interview them together. As Debbie was going down the list, she noticed just one or two women's names. She really wanted to keep the staff diversified if she could. So she circled the two names and asked for them to be interviewed first. The HR Director was a bit miffed, as he really thought that business was best suited to men. But Debbie was the boss, so he went ahead and scheduled the interviews for that same day. As we have seen, Lois was not one to let things go. Her curiosity about Racheal was already consuming her. So she decided to pay her daughter a visit. As she approached Debbie's office, she was unsure how to ask Debbie about Racheal without arousing suspicions. Debbie saw her mother standing outside her office door and called to her "Mom? Did you want to see me?" Lois walked into the office. Lois just blurted out "What was Racheal Madison doing here?" Debbie was a bit taken by surprise at this "I didn't know that you knew her. We just hired her as the new Project Manager. Why, is there a problem?" Lois was furious! "How dare you give such a high position to that whore! She will rank above me now! Don't you know who she is?" Debbie was confused. She could understand her mother's feelings about another woman having a higher position, but to call her such names was way out of line. Rick looked over at Old Wilson and said "What are your thoughts on this matter?" Old Wilson had a few things to say. He started with " I think that Madame handled the situation well. I believe that if Ms. Madison truly got the job on her own merits, there is no reason to discount her for her previous life. Although I would keep a close eye on her, I think her attitude will show her true motives. Mr. Howel needs to learn his place before insulting a valuable client. As for Madame's mother, she should just keep out of it." Both Debbie and Rick agreed. So there was no need to take the matter further at the present time. Debbie said "Thank you Old Wilson! That's just what I wanted to hear. I know my mother is a bit of a busy body, but I will just have to keep her in check." Rick turned the conversation to the upcoming opening ceremony. After dinner was finished, Old Wilson said his goodbyes and strolled down the drive towards his own house in Silver Hill. Although Rick had provided him with a car, Old Wilson prefered to walk when inside the developement. Rick and Debbie waved him off and returned to the pool house to relax before bedtime. As they were sitting down, Chef Matthew served them both some more tea and then retired for the night. As the couple were chit chatting, Debbie recieved a call from her mother. As Debbie picked up the call she could tell that her mother was upset. Lois said "You won't believed what has happened! Your Grandmother has had a heart attack! We must go to her at once." Lois came from a small town some distance to the north from Fing City. Lois did have a few siblings, but as the oldest, she was expected to take care of her mother if anything happened to her.
