Chapter 70

Lois had been working long hours to catch up on her work. She had gotten behind while Howard and Shirley had been staying with her. She was not used to having to take care of anybody but her self for a very long time. Rick had always done the cooking and cleaning for the last five years, and she was discovering that it was a full time job in itself to keep a household going. So now, Lois was just exhausted and frustrated. Of course she blamed Rick for her present situation. If not for him, Debbie would never have moved out! That good for nothing was a bad influence on her daughter. Sure, he was very rich now, but what good was that to Lois!?! They only gave her enough money to keep the household bills paid, but nothing else. Now she had to work for any extras that she felt that she deserved. These were the things that she thought Debbie owed her. She raised Debbie after all. Why was her life such a tragedy?
