Eve’s POV

I stare at Alpha Takoda suspiciously as the meaning behind his words starts to sink in. He couldn’t possibly be trying to tell me that their Moon Goddess has deemed me worthy enough to be Shappa’s mate. I’m not even a wolf, so that couldn’t possibly be what the Alpha is hinting at.
