Susan's POV

After dinner, I went with Patricia to the backyard to do my training for my wolf. There was so much space back here, Justin was running about, having the time of his life. Originally, I had planned for him to stay in the mansion, as I did not know how the training would go, but Patricia assured me that there was nothing to fear for him to be nearby. Of course, as neither of us would be able to watch over Justin while we train, so Ayla was assigned to keep watch over him. She who, thankfully, seemed to have forgiven me for what I did to her last night.

“Okay, Susan. Before we get started on our training, I want to ask some questions,” Patricia spoke.

“Sure. What about?” I asked, wondering if the questions she would be asking would have anything to do with our training.

"To start, your wolf. Has it never awakened at all, or did it happen at one point that you don't seem to remember?"

I became confused with the question she asked me. "Why would that be important?"

  • Rise of the Alpha's Rejected Luna   Clearing Up the Facts

By no means did I expect any sort of uproar to come about from the crowd when I gave my intake of what happened that night. The jurors, on the other hand, I did notice glancing at each other in disbelief, though not in a way that they doubt my words. Not as they looked amongst one another, and then to the struggling, muffled Duncan.“So to be clear, based on the words of but one other- no investigation, no trial, nothing to see if any sort of evidence can be found. Was it even revealed exactly what sort of poison it was?” the judge asked me.“As much as I would like to answer that, Your Honor, unfortunately, after I had gotten detained and sent off the prison, I heard nothing about any investigation being done, so I can’t say for certain about it. I don’t even know if the poison used was ever identified,” I answered. Once the last part left my mouth, whispers were heard from the crowd behind me. From what I could make out, it seems everyone- or at least those who knew of the incident

  • Rise of the Alpha's Rejected Luna   Truth of the Incident

It was silent when I gave my former title to the judge and jurors. Not a surprise, really. Namely from the Bluemoon Pack. It was but a given that they did not want to admit to the position I once held in this pack.“Like hell you ever were the Luna!” Duncan exclaimed. “All you were was some bitch who-” Once again, he was forcibly slammed down to the ground.“This is starting to get old with you, dear mutt,” the judge told him, responsible for unleashing his Alpha Authority onto him. “Regardless of who she was to you, have you forgotten where your place is here? You will behave. Whether you like it or not.” With that warning, the judge glanced back at me. “As for you, it is not often that a pack’s Luna would get demoted to an Omega. Not unless if they have committed a crime so terrible that it deserved such punishment. Have you done such a thing?”I glanced at Duncan this time when I was asked that, knowing full well how he would react if I were to answer truthfully. I don’t know to wh

  • Rise of the Alpha's Rejected Luna   Ex-Wife's Intro

I opened the doors and walked out of the inn, my head held high. As I walked, the steps I took grabbed the attention of the wolves in the area, prompting them to turn my way. Many gasped as they laid eyes on me, whispering amongst themselves. From the whispers, as I was told, many did assume I was dead, expressing disbelief that I was alive this whole time. Some people were quick to assume I had gone to hiding the past several days I was out, which in a way would not be wrong, but also not entirely right. Not when I still have injuries from my encounter with the rogues.Amongst them all, the one person who was most especially shocked upon seeing me was none other than the one I wanted to see the least. Even if trial was his own demise."You! I knew you were alive, you little-!" Duncan couldn't finish his words, as he got hit by an Alpha Authority, and got slammed to the ground."You will behave like a dog you are," the judge spoke. "If you truly were an Alpha, you should know better t

  • Rise of the Alpha's Rejected Luna   The Final Witness

Susan's POVI stood right by the inn's door, filled with much uncertainty. Not in my place here, but more with the makeover done onto me. "I really think this is a little much..." I said to Ayla and Beatrix."Nonsense. This is your big return, after all. The mutts outside believe you have died, remember? Amongst them being the ones who have tormented you so. With how things are, it is more of a crime to not dress you up properly,” Beatrix claimed.“Beatrix is right. Besides, those people need to know one way or another. That you are no longer some dog they can just pick on. Especially not that ‘Alpha’ who wronged you and Justin.”I sighed at the points they made. It wasn’t as though there were any flaws with them, as it was more that the points they made more depended on if the people were willing to listen to me. Hear me out like they would anyone else. I can at least easily name one person who would would rather hear crickets than any reasons from me. Yes, Beatrix did manage to giv

  • Rise of the Alpha's Rejected Luna   'Illness' Revealed

All eyes turned to the she wolf when she spoke up, excluding Dingo, who remained neutral.“And why is it not necessary, Ashley?” Dingo questioned.“B-Because, he’s just a quack! How do we even know if what he claims is ever valid?” the girl answered with a stutter. An answer that made many of us jurors frown, whereas the apothecary let out a pained gasp.“My word, Miss Ashley! How could you say such a thing?!” he asked. “I have considered you my best customer. My very own VIP! The one werewolf who actually uses my service without much complaint with the side effects! You even asked for custom-made medicine from me. Which by the way, no matter how I think of it, it does not sound like medicine at all. If the negative effects were side effects, that would be one thing. But you requested that I make that more potent instead. Claimed that the additional pain would help remedy this ‘illness’ you asked for. And yeah, I am a ‘quack’ as you claim, and I like my business to get going, but even

  • Rise of the Alpha's Rejected Luna   Previous Alpha's Testimony II

More whispers followed in the crowd, as they stared at the disgraceful mutt in dread and disgust. Behind me, I could hear Anderson scoff at their reactions.“Hmph. How the times change so easily,” he muttered. “These dogs would just believe in anything their ‘dear Alpha’ says, wouldn’t they? I admit, I thought your habit of crushing down unworthy packs was questionable, but if it was to get rid of mutts like these guys, looks like the method is very quick and effective.”I rolled my eyes at his ‘observation’, as he knew nothing of the whole truth with these dogs. “You think they never tried to speak up before? You really are not ready for this position, after all, daddy’s boy,” I stated, causing him to frown.“Well, isn’t it true? Otherwise, that dog wouldn’t-”“Remind us, Anderson, why this trial came to be? Exactly how did it all start, really?” Sephora interrupted. “You think information on other packs are given to us from birds? That the Moon Goddess would be the one who tells us

  • Rise of the Alpha's Rejected Luna   Previous Alpha's Testimony

Once Dingo had his turn to give his testimony, the next hour was spent with him unveiling the many things his son had done. Things that no Alpha would ever do. And though I had seen the evidence myself when they were first presented to me, seeing it all again here was still quite the shock, if one can be honest about this.“As everyone can see here, my son has been using the pack’s very finances not for any business related activities, much less anything regarding our former allies. Instead, it’s all been used for his own entertainment. For his own personal reasons,” Dingo said, revealing a long list of transactions done with the pack’s funds. Not personal, but the pack’s.“Oh come on! What’s the big deal? It’s not like I stole money from anyone!” the disgraceful mutt exclaimed. A ‘defense’ that made many frown on him.The judge was about to slam his gavel down on his table, when Dingo raised a hand to stop him, catching his attention more. I could see it in his eyes; the determined l

  • Rise of the Alpha's Rejected Luna   Witness: Former Alpha

Entering the room, walking down the aisle, was none other than former Alpha Dingo, the disgraceful mutt’s father. “Father? What are you doing here?” the mutt dared ask. Dingo looked to his son in dismay at the question. “What do you think I am here for? Or has His Honor’s words gone through one ear and out the other?” he retorted, indirectly answering the question.Disbelief filled the mutt, as he shook his head in denial. “You’re joking… You’re siding with them?!”The shout may be the last straw on the former Alpha, as he retorted, “I side with my people! My people who were supposed to look to you- their current Alpha!- for their problems and improvements on the pack! For a leader who does his job and lead his pack! Instead, as I gave you this position, what has become of the very pack I once led, and the Alphas before me?! Instead of leading them, making plans of improvements for them, do what any Alpha would do for their people, you spent so much time and resources spoiling just

  • Rise of the Alpha's Rejected Luna   The Trial Taking Place

Pularis's POVWhat is there to say about the trial going on?“This is all nothing more than an attack! You’re just jealous that you’re nothing more than broke and failed mutts compared to me! The Alpha!”‘Ridiculous’. That’s what. And the source? Why, who else but the whiny mutt this whole thing was for?I sat with my fellow councilmen in the jurors section of the trial, watching as everything- all that disgraceful mutt’s wrongs- get revealed. Not only from the many evidence we’ve collected, but also from the testimonies we’ve received from several witnesses. That is… witnesses and victims. And as it would turn out, there were plenty of people who had it out for this mutt. Plenty who were wronged, and were more than happy to see this dog fall. And of course, amidst it all, that disgraceful mutt refuses to accept the facts when revealed right in front of him.“To be sure, you said the people who were called up were ‘witnesses’, correct?” Sephora asked in a low whisper. “I cannot help n
