Grabbing the pillow I scream into it in frustration, I had spent hours in the hotel room trying to contact the kids with no luck.

Everyone else was out working together to plan the attack on the outside of the warehouse while I worked with aspen to contact the kids and fill them in with the plan.

Aspen groans at me, pawing me to get back to work, I give in laying on the bed and rolling so I throw my arms over his body, as I do he licks my nose and I can’t help but smile at him. He was determined to get the kids back, so was I but he had no doubt in his mind that it would work, I on the other hand was sceptical.

Trying again I attempt to force a link open to Baylee and caden through aspen but it refuses to work, I try for another 20 minutes only taking a break when drake walks in
