We are still at the beach and Riah is adamant that I must I go face my fuming wife when Hunter gets a call. The guards at the Davi estate inform him to warn me that Niki has issued an order to have me killed if I show up at the estate. They have all taken into me, but Niki is their boss. They all know too well how volatile she is when angry and would not dare disobey her, hence the warning.

Riah closes her eyes and sighs, clearly hurt and disappointed.

I am heartbroken by Niki’s order but relieved at the same time. Riah can’t insist that I go get my family now but I’m also relieved because I don’t know how to face my wife. I did not pull the trigger but I did kidnap her father and he died in my custody. Furthermore, it was a Booi, my blood, who was responsible and I never told her.

I look at my dejected, devastated family and feign a strong front.
