*****Nikita POV*****

I wake up in an unfamiliar place. The hazy image of Franco standing above me gets clearer and I sit up.

“Morning sleepyhead,” Franco beams. There is really something wrong with this man.

“Where am I?”

“We are in the great Crego and the weather is wonderful!” he responds with so much excitement, you would swear we were related or friends.

“You drugged me,” I accuse. The last thing I remember was arriving at the cemetery and someone putting a sack over my head. Crego is in another country away.

He shrugs his shoulders. “You are not the cooperative type, my friend.”

“What do you want, Franco?”

He opens his hands. “Money, Niki, money and you have loads of it.”

“I thought we were friends,” I accuse.

“Of course we are.”

“You kidnapped my son!” I exclaim, Anderson rising within me.

“Come on now, Niki. The little guy was not harmed.”

I shake my head and bite my tongue. Nick might not be physically harmed but being snatched by strange man will still scar him.
