Alice stayed standing in the corner of the room staring at the Alphas with worried eyes. Her aunt was standing in front of them keeping her head down in submission, she could feel weird thumping of her heart as she took the expressions of the Alpha’s in check. Both wore different yet the same intended emotion in their faces.
Alpha Allen looked slightly worried and hesitant, he looked like he didn't want to come here but seemed like he had no other option but to comply as his son showed no emotion and the evil determination behind his striking black eyes was terrifying for Alice. She knew when Raymond became evil he can go to any lengths just to get what he wanted. And right now it seemed like he came with not so good intention.
Why were they here? This question was worrying her. She knew the great alphas coming into the house of omegas was something suspicious. She knew they wanted something, something bad for them yet beneficial for them, they were selfish, and cruel. Alice had accepted that Alpha could be anything but compassionate with the omegas, they considered the omegas objects and lowly creatures, there was no way they would personally visit without an ulterior motive.
“Yes Alpha Raymond, Alpha Allen. What can I do for you?” Alice gulped and for a split moment, her eyes met Raymond’s who pulled an evil smirk over his lips making her drop her eyes down once again, she didn't like the way his eyes screamed cruelty. It still hurt to know that she wasted her years of affection on this ruthless man.
He didn't even kept the pass of their childhood friendship, the way he turned so evil after knowing that they were mates was unbelievable to her. The possessive controlling Raymond was still there but she knew it was only because they still had a little mate bond left between them. Otherwise the hate and disgust behind his eyes was an open indication that he would never consider her than a lowly creature.
“Lisa I hope you're in a good health, We actually,” Allen trailed glancing at his son. It wasn’t hard to order her but as Lisa was one of the free omegas and not slaves of alphas that’s why her consent was needed.
Allen looked conflicted and hesitant almost like he didn't want to ask her what they came here for resulting in Raymond to roll his eyes, "We need a favor from you," Raymond completed his father's words as he raised his eyes staring down at the old woman with slightly different gaze.
He didn't look disgusted or hateful while staring at Lisa even though she was also an omega, but the moment he uttered the next words he showed why he could never be merciful towards an omega. He was heartless and regardless his hatred or not towards an omega he had long refused to consider them as living beings.
“Lisa I want you to go and serve the Rogue this week.” Raymond voiced out making both Alice and Lisa’s eyes widen in shock, Alice's head snapped towards the Alpha whose cruel eyes were stuck over Lisa who almost stumbled back in pure shock. He had to be joking right?
“W-What?” Lisa stuttered out in horror while Alice froze in her spot while gazing at the Alpha with her stunned eyes.
That Rogue. They have heard how he had killed each and everyone who had come to give him his food. For the past four months, they have lost a lot of omegas because of him, no one knew what was his motive or why he was so murderous towards anyone who approached him. At first everyone thought he was killing only omega as might he hated them but no, he also killed many guards who were at higher ranks. He just hated having anyone near him.
Alice was frozen, stunned and speechless at the audacity yet the cruelty of their Alpha, she knew he was never merciful towards the slave omegas and no matter how bad she felt for the poor wolves she couldn't do anything. But the fact that he wanted an independent omega to lose her life just because of his ugly motive and hatred spread another wave of hate in her chest for him.
“We can’t keep on sending slave omegas. He smells their slavery and ends their lives. You’re an independent omega and I think he will not harm you.” Raymond was still not sure about him harming her or not, but they had thought it through, they couldn't keep losing omegas.
No matter how much he hated the omega specie, they were still an important part of their pack. He couldn't lose all of them and the rogue was making sure to end each one of them whenever they visited him. He didn't even leave the higher ranked slaves which left them with only one option, to try an independent omega. Raymond knew he was risking Lisa's life but the thought of it affecting Alice and hurting her doubled his determination to use her.
“Think!” Alice’s voice caught their attention. Raymond instantly looked at her. Her eyes glanced at him before dropping her gaze, she gritted her teeth wanting to claw at his face for putting her aunt in such a position.
“Please Alpha, Alpha Allen. He will kill her.” Alice said looking down but the pressure of staying in control and not snapping at them was evident in her voice. A small smirk stretched over Raymond’s lips how much he loves it when she begs!“It’s an order, She has to go.” Raymond commanded leaving no space for argument. As expected from the bastard! Alice gritted cursing him in her mind, using his commanding tone had became a habit of him.
He always used his alpha command when things wouldn't go his way. He always used his power in the wrong way and that helped her to hate him even more, she wished she had never met him, never interacted with him and never had fallen in love with him. Even though there was no love left in her heart for him, but the fact that he never cared about their friendship as well still hurt her.
Knowing very well that there was no way she could fight his comamnd Allen sighed nodding his head when both the omegas shut up after his command. Raymond nodded at him turning around to go out but stopped when Alice said the next shocking words.
“I will go there.” Raymond instantly turned around staring at her with a frown. Even Lisa shook her head, he wasn't expecting that and to say he hated her words was an understatement. He wanted to shove them back in her mouth.
“What is wrong with you Alice?! You’re not going to him! He can kill you!” Lisa said trying to knock some sense in her but she shook her head, Alice sighed.
“You said an independent omega needs to go and serve him right. I am an independent omega. I will go.” She muttered raising her head looking straightly in Raymond's eyes.
For the first time after his rejection she mustered the courage to look at him, something burned in Raymond's chest as he glared at her. He was about to refuse when the flashes of that night started swaying before his eyes. He had been hurting because of her, he had rejected her yet he wasn't able to let her go completely. Maybe this was it.
“No Alice. It’s a really dangerous young woman and ----” Allen started denying, he didn't want Lisa to go as well but because of Raymond he said yes. There was no way he would let Alice take a bait.
“Fine. Not Lisa but Alice will go to serve that Rogue.” Raymond said taking everyone by surprise except Alice, she finally broke the eye contact with him showing no surprise or hurt. She expected it.
“Raymond! What are you saying? She can be killed!” Allen said trying to knock some sense in him but Raymond ignored him, he stared at Alice with several emotions but strongest one was hatred. He had suffered a lot because of her and maybe.
Maybe her death would be able to free him from this pain.
“She’s choosing to die herself then what’s the problem! She’s giving her consent that’s all matters. Tomorrow you have to go and serve him. Be on time.” With that, he turned around walking out leaving the girl behind, he gulped gritting his teeth trying to control himself to not go back to her.
She wasn’t shocked, she wasn’t sad, she was disappointed. Even though he didn’t want her still he could at least behave a little humanely and show her that her life matters to him but alas! He had lost all the memories of their friendship, he had turned an ice cold alpha and she had stopped being surprised by that fact.
She knew why Raymond didn’t oppose her decision. If she died Raymond will never have a second chance mate and it will be favorable to him after all. He could easily mark Hellen and nothing was stopping him. Alice will never have a second mate but Raymond could. He could have a second chance mate anytime after the rejection. Her death will do a huge favor to him as when she will die he will lose the chance to get a second mate and he eventually could be with Hellen without any future problems. Lisa instantly hugged her begging her to drop the thought of going to that chamber but Alice was determined. She somehow wished that she would be killed this way the pain will end at least, the fact that Raymond's indifference didn't matter to her showed how he had not only killed their mate bond but also the love she had for him once. And now dying seemed like a better option to her especially when she had nothing to live on anymore.Or did she really?
Night arrived and after dinner, Alice got ready to sleep. She sighed looking through the books on various disorders, and trying to find out what herbs could be useful to heal them, While going through them she suddenly felt an aching pain hitting her chest. Suddenly her face scrunched into a pained expression as the book fell from her hand to her lap as she clutched her chest, this pain was familiar to her but felt different each time it attacked her.
“Ugh!” She groaned in distress and without her noticing her body fell from the bed meeting with the floor, breathing unevenly she shut close her eyes clenching her jaw to not scream.
She knew this pain very well. It wasn’t the first time she was feeling this, it wasn’t the first time it hurt this bad but it indeed was the first time she didn't feel like crying. She knew why she felt like dying at this moment.
Raymond. He was having sex with another woman.
Right now she didn’t feel bad, she didn’t feel emotionally hurt. She desperately prayed for him to mark Hellen, just mark her and end this pain. She whimpered controlling her screams, she knew if she let out one loud noise her aunt will run to her room and she had no intention to worry the woman especially this late. She didn’t want her aunt to hear her, so surpassing the pain she silently prayed for the cruel Alpha to mark his chosen mate.
Covering her lips with her both palms she squeezed her closed eyes waiting for him to just dig his fangs in that woman’s neck and mark her. But nothing, as always the pain started subsiding with the end of their intimacy but it didn't fade away fully which showed only one thing.
He didn't mark Hellen.
The pain soon started decreasing. She knew he didn’t mark her. The mate bond was still there, she couldn’t stop the tears that fell on her cheeks, those tears weren't the result of the pain she suffered from but instead it was because of being this much helpless, she was utterly disappointed and helpless at why he wasn't just marking Hellen and let her go completely.
“Why?” She mumbled opening her teary eyes.
“Why can’t he just mark her? What have I ever done to him to give me this much pain?” She whispered to herself still lying flat on the ground staring at the ceiling with her hazy gaze, she never knew this ruthless side of Raymond until the night she came to know he was her mate.
“I hate you, Alpha Raymond. I hope one day you would regret this. I wish the pain you gave me one day someone return it to you as well.” She cursed the Alpha without skipping a beat curling up in a ball on the floor.
Without realizing she fell asleep on the ground but not before praying for Raymond's doom and her end.
On the other hand, deep in the chamber caged the monster slowly opened his amber eyes staring at the bloody floor of his prison. The dead body of the man he killed was taken away but the blood was still there, he rolled his eyes at the space before narrowing them with a sharp glare.
He jumped off the cemented aisle making the chains around him cackle. As he took only one step after jumping off the cemented place the chains restrained him from walking any step ahead. That’s why the workers have to approach him to give him the food.
He looked at his wrists and biceps. They were bruised up, because of continuous movement, his wrists have started bleeding now but he didn’t give a damn about it. For him they were nothing, they felt like pinch to his buff body. All he needed right now was to attain for what he was here and seemed like finally it was the time for him take the step.
He closed his eyes standing still on the spot. He opened his lips mumbling a few spells and in a second his whole body was on fire. His lips curved into a sinister smirk. He steadily opened his yellow gleaming eyes, even his eyeballs were on fire, he felt more powerful. Thanks to these idiots.
“Just a few weeks more and the day of the full moon will be the day of my freedom.” He whispered to himself in his dark tone, he chuckled watching the room being lit up with the fire around his body.
All of them are a bunch of fools to think they had kept him locked. He was here for a reason, he was here to strengthen his power and the night of full moon will the night of his victory. He let them imprison him, he let them torture him, it wasn’t them who was planning his future. It was always him.Soon the fire started disappearing and looking down at himself he noticed the wounds on his body has become more visible. He had every kind of power any wolf would kill to have. He wasn’t only a werewolf but had many powers which wolves have individually except for one.
Healing power. He lacked healing power. Even after trying his best to find that here in this pack but he still couldn’t get it.
The biggest fool was the Alpha of this pack who had thought he could imprison the infamous king of rogues. He had overestimated himself hadn't he? The day wasn't far when he will have that idiot Alpha on his knees asking for mercy. The real of reason of him being was just to became stronger which he had. These idiots didn't know but the silver they were injecting him wasn't doing shit to him but increasing his strength. He got to know from somewhere that the silver of this pack was something beneficial to him and to check it he risked his visit and stole silver arrow from this pack. After he thrusted the object in his body he did feel powerful and more capable than before physique wise. So he eventually made a plan and surrendered himself knowing very well that they will torture him with the silver.
He chuckled walking back to the cemented stage and jumping on it. What a fool! For him, the Alpha of this pack was nothing but a fool. How idiotically that man kept him alive just so he could boost his ego by killing him on the full moon, the rogue knew the omegas death weren't in his plan but the overwhelming power of the silver always left him on the edge.
He even killed one of the betas who brought him here. That beta indeed had a good amount of strength and powers. All his focus was on how to become invincible, he wanted to become untouchable. But he knew there was something that was missing. Leaning against the dirty mattress he glared at the dark ceiling with his dark yellow eyes. He needed the healing power, and he knew he had ability to snatch that power from the well woman of this pack.
He will meet her, and she had to hand her power to him otherwise he knew how to snatch it.
Next morning.
The night turned to day and Alice as instructed took the food to the chamber. Raymond was present there smirking at her upcoming doom but only he knew how viciously his heart was thumping watching her walking towards her grave. Seeing her looking restless he knew whatever he wanted to do last night he did it.
Alice ignoring him went to the chamber with her drumming heart. She felt like it will jump out of her chest, taking slow steady steps towards the door she surprised the guards as well. No woman had been sent by alpha before then why now?
They instantly pitied her. The monster wouldn’t leave her as well, the guard opened the last gate. Gulping down she stepped inside the prison.
Or maybe towards her end.

Author Pov As soon as Alice entered the prison her face scrunched up in disgust. The floor was filled with dry blood and extreme dust, the room had a disgusting smell all over it. She felt an extreme need to cover her nose but instead of going back, she inhaled sharply looking towards the cemented setting where she knew the beast was kept, she knew her end was near after all for this very purpose her cruel Alpha had sent her here. She never thought that the only person who actually considered her worthy of his friendship, the only man who befriended her and made her believe that she wasn't a waste of their pack as others bullied her, the same very man will hurt her this much. She never even in her wildest dreams thought he would the reason of her utmost pain and hate. Author Pov Alice took a deep breath turning around to face the smirking man. The burning disappaiment swirling in his eyes made her take pity on her herself that there was actually time when she considered this man as her childhood friend, her mate, her protector, she was so wrong. He wanted her dead so bad, didn't he? He was doing well in giving her more reasons to hate him especially after seeing how cruel and empathic he was. She gritted her teeth watching her once mate, there was actually a time when she was thankful to goddess for making him her mate as she always had feelings for him for being her protector when she needed someone the most. She always thought what she felt he reciprocated in someway especially when he showcased his possessiveness and jealousy of her interacting with any other male but seemed like everything was just an illusion of hers. She felt so angry and disgusted by this wolf and not able to stop herself she muttered. "Sorry to disappoint you Alpha." She
Author Pov "Why did you faint?" Raymond's loud accusing voice echoed in the empty room she was residing in making her gulp down. Alice steadily placed her bare feet on the cold ground stepping in front of him keeping a good distance between them. She glanced at his angry face for a second before dropping it down gulping hard. She couldn't help but feel like a prisoner or someone who had comitted a grave mistake of fainting. She did heal him but as she knew he will kill her and thinking that she wouldn't come out and no one will know who healed him but that beast didn't even do anything. But now everything was messed up, he didn't kill her, The alpha seemed to get a information about her fainting. If she told him the truth about healing the rogue this man wouldn't hesitate to kill her. She has no idea why would she want to heal such a dangerous and murderous prisoner but she knew one thing. Her body pushed her to heal him, there was something in her that she couldn't stay back from s
Author's Pov "Whose scent are you reeking of? Fucking answer me!" Alice flinched hearing his roar as she tried to step away from the heavily breathing wolf. The possessiveness and authority that his tone held scared her out of her wits. Alice's hands snapped up to his hands in alert which were wrapped around her waist keeping her at bay, she tried to struggle out one growl from his side she again froze on the spot letting him pull her further in his arms. She gulped feeling his uneven yet harsh breathing hitting her nape, she had no idea what her being cladded in another's scent had anything to do with this wolf. She jumped startled when he again let out a dangerous sound gritting his teeth, the scent that engulfed her frame was beyond repulsive to him. His wolf went crazy at the fact that his mate was near another man, he had no idea what they had done for her to reek of that bastard's scent. He tightened his grip over her not caring if it was hurting her, he just wanted to get ri
Author's Pov The week swept away in a blurr with the omega getting busy with her work, she tried to divert her mind by trying to find herbs day and night, she kept on taking more and more patients just to get rid of the thoughts of that one particular wolf. But again key word 'she tried' with no success, he was all she could think of, it was almost like he had done some magic on her so she couldn't forget him. She sighed heavily attaching the folds of the box in which her herb medicines were kept, she had taken care of a patient with a terrible injury just a few minutes ago and the moment he left her mind once again flashed those treacherous Amber eyes before hers frustrating her to no end. Clutching the box with bothered expressions, she stared at the space once again questioning herself of why that rogue affected her so much? The pull she felt towards him was beyond her understanding, she never felt this much bound with Raymond even though he was her mate. Then why him? Why that

Author's Pov Ezekiel smirked seeing the obvious fear dancing in the eyes of the alpha, he couldn't help but pity the people who considered such a filth as their Alpha, even the title inherited to him of Alpha seemed like an insult to the other brave Alphas all over the werewolf world. Ezekiel had fought and faced many Alphas in the past and it wasn't a lie to say that this one was the epitome of disappointment in the name of Alpha. He had left his people to be killed by the brute just to save his ass. His anger flushed even more when he remembered how he sent his little mate to the beast, it was obvious he had an intention to kill her as well, and it wasn't a hidden thing that Ezekiel only showed mercy over her because of two reasons, he didn't feel the anger after smelling her scent and major reason of her being his mate. His smirk widened watching the cowardice Alpha's hands shivering in fear, he must be delusional to think he could cage rogue king. Fool! He was about to take a s
