INTRODUCTION: ORIGIN OF CHAOS
After the devastating war against a destructive creature that returned through Infinity's birth and power, Utopia was now on its way to recovery, though many has died and disappeared, including the heir to the throne of the kingdom — Infinity "Green" Moonthrone, the Infinity Goddess who sacrificed her life for everyone's salvation.
But even if they could restore everything to its former order, it wouldn't be the same as before because Infinity herself decided already what path she wanted to take — which was to live in tranquility in the mortal world with her human parents who adopted her.
She chose to live as before — away from the world of immortal creatures where she belonged because she realized that chaos always followed her when she chose to stay in that world, and to be an Infinity Moonthrone — a cursed Infinity Goddess.
Yes, that was how she described herself as Infinity, she was cursed because she felt like she was the twin of darkness and destruction.
Also, that was the only way she knew to completely stop the chaos, and not to increase the number of creatures who would sacrifice their lives to protect everyone and the kingdom from falling.
She doesn't want to be selfish by just choosing to live in that world with her real parents, and friends if the consequence was a relentless war because of her existence in that world. Even if what she just wanted right from the start or after she found out the truth was to be with them — to feel the love of her real parents that she had never felt, but destiny itself was already the one that was working to prevent it from happening. Although what she also did was a selfish act because she leave everything and everybody behind with no choice; her responsibility as heir to the throne of Utopia, her real family who have been looking for her for a long time, her friends, and Yazenth Moonthrone — the man she loves and vice versa. But somehow, with what she chose, the chaos stopped — just like what she wanted, and it would never happen again, as long as she was away, and knew nothing about her true identity or whole being.
But no matter how hard she tries to avoid that fate, she couldn't stop her destined love affair with Yazenth, which led her to find her way back to Utopia, but as someone else — as O'Brien Exequiel.
Now, would Yazenth recognize her in her new persona? Or would he ignore again what he felt with O'Brien just like what he did before with Green as a reason for another man to precede him again in her heart?
And for Green — no, for O'Brien, would she escape her fate once again? If so, how long would she avoid it? Or it was already the time for her to face it, but she had to be brave because that decision might be the reason for her to lose all the creatures she cares for.
But how could she stop the chaos if she was the origin of it and not really the chosen one?
PROLOGUE Five years later . . . She was wearing an elegant gold and white velvet gown, and her green wine hair was tied into a braided bun with the curly hair strands that lingering on her face. She wasn't wearing her crown, but you can really feel the strange presence she carries because of the power she has that overflows with its strength. Her presence screams royalty.
CHAPTER 1: NIGHTMARE I was anxiously awakened from lying down because of a bad dream. A nightmare that always visited or hunted me every time I closed my eyes, and I felt like it was so real. I felt like the scene I was dreaming about really happened. But I know that it was very impossible because there was no such thing like it — a magical world. I wiped my face with my palms out of frustration as I sighed heavily. I calmed myself first before reaching for a glass of water on the table on the left side of my bed, and drank a little to feint. And don't get me wrong, huh? I'm not one of those who believed in magic because that wasn’t really true. It wa
CHAPTER 2: O'BRIEN EXEQUIELI woke up with a startle, like I came from a nightmare. I stared at the ceiling, a little disoriented, trying to recognize the place I was in. Until everything that happened suddenly flowed through my mind."I-I died?" Yes, I was a hundred percent sure that I died. And I didn't think anyone could survive falling into that abyss."W-What happened to me? I fell in a clip and died. H-How did this happen? H-How am I still alive now? "I asked myself as I tried to move my body, and even pinched my skin, but I just gr
CHAPTER 3: THE PAINTINGI was in awe while wandering my eyes around in a hallway with a dark marble floor. The walls are made of different types and colors of diamonds and crystals. The chandeliers were not lit by light bulbs, but by green fire that reflects through walls, making the place look brighter or blue-ish, and I could even see my reflection in the wall.I felt like I was in a palace or castle in a magical world because of how fascinating this hallway was. It was so magical, and whoever the owner of this castle-like mansion was definitely a wealthy person because all I could see around were just diamonds and crystals.I also didn’t know that there was such a place in the world like this. I mean, I have never heard or watched the news on television featuring this place. Well, I&rsqu
CHAPTER 4: MEMORY GODDESS "W-What are you doing here?" My jaw suddenly slacked upon hearing that question, but no words came out from my mouth even if I wanted to because I felt like my throat was burning. But by the tone of his voice, I could easily identify or say that he was a man. His sultry voice was deep and husky. It was familiar to my ears, and I couldn't be wrong. It was him . . . the attitude guy with ash-blonde hair, grey eyes, and eyebrows earlier in the room where I was in. My hands trembled in fear but I just stood still, and waited for the next thing to happen. "Aren't you aware that it's forbidden to enter this room, aren't you? You have committed blasp
CHAPTER 5: ROYAL ACADEMYI have been attending my classes at the Royal Academy for two days now as O’Brien Exequiel, and almost everyone here knows me — I mean, as O’Brien. Kaya naging maayos kahit papaano ang takbo ng buhay ko sa mundong ito sa dalawang araw na nakalipas, and they were all nice at me. But I just didn't know if they still treated me like that once they found out the truth. Well, it was impossible for them to know my biggest secret because even me, I couldn't prove it — that I was Green Lemon, and not O'Brien Exequiel.O’Brien was known here as a very beautiful and kind-hearted woman. But fortunately, Celeste and Scarlet were always there to help me, though we were getting suspicious already of whateve
Your Prince charming . . . " impit na tili ni Scarlet. She was even shaking the sleeves of my uniform due to her excitement upon seeing Catterfeld approaching us."H-Hi . .
Kanina ko pa kayo hinihintay rito," tuloy pa niya kaya pa-simple akong napatingin kay Scarlet.I was silently wishing that she couldn't tell what happened on our way here in the training ground. "Ah, so . . . something really happened kaya natagalan kayo.
