Chapter Ten

Hazel’s POV

I was so angry my hands wouldn’t stop shaking. I wanted to scream. I wanted to cry. But I was too damn tired for tears. Everything felt heavy. My chest. My legs. My head. I just existed in this numb, frustrated fog while Creed carried me back inside like I weighed nothing.

He didn’t put me down until we reached the dining room. The second my bare feet touched the cold floor I tried to pull away. He kept one hand on my arm, firm but not bruising.

“Eat or sleep,” he said.

  • Ruin Me, Alpha Step-Daddy    Chapter 69

Chapter 69Hazel’s POVHazel stood frozen near the edge of the hallway, her fingers tightly coiling into the soft fabric of the dark robe she wore. The lingering heat of Creed’s chest still warmed the chill from my skin, and my heart hammered against my ribs like a trapped bird. Every breath felt heavy, laden with the sheer magnitude of what we had just barely survived. Elder Vance had left, but the dark, lingering echo of his parting threat still hung in the silence of the massive stone corridors like a heavy fog. Before either of us could utter a single word to bridge the sudden, charged quiet between us, the sharp, catastrophic sound of shattering glass exploded through the foyer.CRASH!The explosive shatter echoed off the cold marble walls like a gunshot, sending pressurized foam and glittering green shards flying across the floor. My head snapped toward the noise instantly. Creed didn't flinch, but his jaw clenched tight, his golden eyes narrowing into dangerous slits as his Alp

  • Ruin Me, Alpha Step-Daddy    Chapter 68

Chapter 68 Hazel’s POV"I hate you so much," I choked out, the words burning in the back of my throat as my hands clutched the soft fabric of his shirt. My body was shaking, pulled between intense fury and the scorching heat radiating from his massive frame. "I hate you, Creed, and I want you to take off this mark from my neck right now!"Creed did not answer me with words.Instead, a dark, dangerous growl rumbled deep in his broad chest. His hand gripped the back of my neck, his long fingers tangling into my hair to hold my head steady as he dipped his face down. His warm, wet mouth slammed directly onto the sensitive skin over the newly exposed soul mark at the base of my throat.A sharp, breathless gasp ripped from my lungs as he began to suck aggressively at the tender flesh. The sensation was electric, sending a fierce, molten tremor straight down to my core. His tongue licked over the burning outline of the gold mark, pulling the sensitive skin between his teeth with a brutal,

  • Ruin Me, Alpha Step-Daddy    Chapter 67

Chapter 67 Hazel’s POVThe heavy mahogany double doors slammed shut with a deafening boom that echoed like a thunderclap off the cold marble walls of the suite. Creed locked the deadbolt into place, the heavy metallic click sounding like the final drop of an iron cage. Before the sound could even fully die away, Creed turned around. The air in the room vanished in a fraction of a second. The dim silver light from the overhead chandelier caught the lethal fire burning in his amber gold eyes, his massive silhouette blotting out every last scrap of warmth in the entryway. He took two long, predatory strides forward, his aura flaring with such suffocating, raw intensity that my breath caught in my chest. Before I could even take a single step backward, his hands shot out like forged steel. His large palm clamped securely around my waist, lifting me completely off my feet, and pinned me flush against the hard surface of the locked door. The wood slammed against my back, but I barely felt

  • Ruin Me, Alpha Step-Daddy    Chapter 66

Chapter 66 Hazel’s POVCreed didn't flinch. He didn't even blink. He stepped straight into Elder Vance’s personal space, his towering frame casting a massive, suffocating shadow over the silver-haired wolf."Everything is perfectly fine in my quarters, Vance," Creed commanded, his baritone voice so dark and absolute that the three enforcers behind the Elder visibly tensed, their hands twitching near their sword hilts. "You have your answer. Now leave."Vance’s sharp eyes flared with quiet fury, but he knew better than to openly defy an Alpha standing his ground."Very well, Alpha," Vance muttered, a cold, mocking smirk touching his thin lips. He turned his gaze past Creed's shoulder, sweeping over me as I stood wrapped tightly in Creed's silk robe. "We will be back. But you had better secure an heir soon. The Blood-Moon line cannot rely on rumors and empty strength."The old man’s words hung heavily in the dim hallway, thick with unspoken threats about Creed's authority and survival.

  • Ruin Me, Alpha Step-Daddy    Chapter 65

Chapter 65 Hazel’s POVCreed was suffocating.I could feel it—not just from the brutal, dead-weight pressure of his broad frame crushing me against the marble vanity, but through the raw, newly exposed soul-mark on my neck. The black and silver moonstone dye had washed away, leaving the bond wide open, and through that thin spiritual tether, his agony poured directly into my veins. It felt like liquid fire mixed with crushed glass, dragging through my bloodstream and shredding my insides to ribbon."Creed... Creed, hold on!" I choked out, my arms locked tightly around his massive waist as his knees buckled. His head was heavy on my shoulder, his shallow, metallic gasps hot against my skin. "The... jacket..." he rasped, his voice a ruined, agonizing whisper that broke my heart into a thousand pieces. "Inner pocket... red capsule..."I glanced frantically across the dark bathroom floor. His designer suit jacket lay crumpled near the doorway, several feet away. I tried to drag him towar

  • Ruin Me, Alpha Step-Daddy    Chapter 64

Chapter 64 Hazel’s POV"No," I whispered. The single word hung in the humid air of the black marble bathroom, fragile yet impossibly sharp.Creed’s body went completely rigid behind me. In the mirror, his dark, amber-gold eyes locked onto mine, pupils blown wide with disbelief. "What did you say?""I said no, Creed." I took a deep, shaky breath, trying to steady the wild pounding of my heart. "I’m not washing it off, and I’m not letting you bulldoze me just because your pack instincts are out of control. It stays until I know I’m safe."A low, lethal growl vibrated out of his chest—a sound that rattled the shadow-filled corners of the room. Without another word, he reached across the vanity, grabbed a small black cloth, and snapped the tap open. Steaming hot water filled the basin, soaking the fabric in seconds. He didn't give me a chance to pull away. Creed spun me around, trapping my back firmly against the marble edge of the sink, his massive frame shutting out the rest of the wor
