Her kids

My eyes opened to the sound of a man yelling, I stood up and immediately fell back down to the bed, all my muscles ached, my head began to spine painfully, I tried to get up again.

“Don’t hurt yourself!.” I heard a man say, he sounded strong and authoritative.

I turned my head fast and regretted it the second I did.

“So she’s the reason you were late!!.” A man scolded.

My eyes flashed at him, it was like he saw a ghost or something. Did I look that bad??, I need a mirror now!.

The man walked towards me and sat beside the bed “Stay still or you're gonna hurt yourself more!.” He said.

The man who yelled at him was quiet like he was in shock or he was restless.

“I am Marshal, I was the one who brought you here.” He informed me.

I smiled at him as sweetly as I could. “You saved me back there thank you!.” I said with my voice cracked.

“No need I couldn’t watch a man beat up a young lady like that!.” He replied sharply.

I didn’t want my mind to wander too far, he was just a good samaritan, I smiled at him as I tried to stand up again. My knees shook but I wasn’t giving up, I stood up straight.

“You need to rest from the doctor's orders, sit I will get you a glass of water.”

‘Who the heck is he??. Why is he so nice?.’ I thought, I tried to move my head to get a proper view of the man who was standing still.

I turned my aching neck towards his direction. He didn’t move at all.

“Here, drink this!.” Marshal handed me a mug of tea? Or was it coffee?.

I led it to my nose and sniffed it, I acted like a dog or even a ‘ wolf!’ With that thought I shook my head vigorously.

“Are you okay?.”

“Hmm.”I replied as I galloped down the liquid in the mug.

Soon my eyes closed and I drifted into deep sleep.

I felt something touch me, I turned and then it touched me again, I opened my eyes to see what it was, I was shocked to see a man that I had never seen before, wait no! I know exactly who he was.

“How did you find me??!.” I asked with a not so quiet voice.

He didn’t speak a word, Instead he moved closer, too close for my liking, I moved backwards creating a healthy distance between us.

“Ahh!.” I screamed when someone grabbed my arm, my wounded arm. “What do you want!?.” I asked as I turned rigidly due to my aching muscles.

He also didn’t speak. He instantly pinned me to the ground, for a moment I knew there was a bed there but where did it go?.

He held my hands tight like he was going to break them, which made me cry in pain.

“Miss!. Miss!!.” I heard someone call,it was my savior.

“Miss!.”

I jumped up and hugged my legs. Oh it was no savior just…

“I am the room service!.” She answered my unspoken question. “Mr Marshal and Master Aiden said I should clean the room and take your order.” I listened to the girl speak in a computer-like tone, it was clear she had memorised everything.

“Okay.” I replied as I robbed my eyes. “ where are they?!.” I asked.

“I don’t know Miss, I wasn’t informed but Mr Marshal said I should let you know Master Aiden will come to get you by 4pm.”
