Elina pov:

I agreed to go home with Kieran, if Kieran fought Felipe and I knew it wouldn't end well so I decided to go home with him.

I didn't wait for him before I walked away, but I was carried by him. Elle jumped happy, feeling her mate closeless, but I can't. I have to be strong for both of us because I knew Kieran would never see us like that. I argued for him to let me down, but he won't let me down.

One thing that scares me today was the way he acted, the way he charged towards me, at that moment I saw no recognition on his face for me. He looked a monster with no feeling, so I stared at his face in arms.

‘Would he ever see me more than a little sister,’ I ignored that thought. I will keep reminding myself that Kieran is my mate and he wouldn't see me like a woman.

When he put me down on the porch, I walked to the door, walked in to the house close the door at his face, and I took a deep breath when I felt him walk away.
