Red house auction

Mira passed by a flower shop and bought a bouquet of flowers. Pink carnations were her mother's favourite.

Arriving at the graveyard, she put on her sunglasses. The sun was hot today. She walked towards her mother's tomb. The groundsman responsible for keeping the area clean greeted her. They had gotten acquainted with each other after her recent visits to the grave. Even in her past life, she would come here whenever she was sad or heartbroken.

This was the only place that she could cry her eyes out and to her heart's content without interruption of fear of someone seeing her vulnerable. Her mother became her listening ear whenever she wanted to talk to someone.But now, she was here to visit her mother and promise to seek justice for her death.

She sat by the tombstone after placing the flowers on the grave. " Mommy,am here to visit you." she started. " Did you miss me,I feel like it's been forever without seeing each other. Did I tell you ,I have a boyfriend now." She said smiling
