CHAPTER SIXTY TWO

Lucky me, I made it to my first period class just in time; feeling happier than ever. It was like I had just started feeling like my old self again. I missed my old life. Having Emett and Terry with me felt as if I was regaining who I was. It was funny because now I knew what was going to happen throughout the day, or maybe all at once; the flooding of the questions. game? How do you know him? I was prepared and I was going to answer each question honestly. I had nothing to hide from them, not when it came to Emett and Terry. I couldn’t be ashamed of them; they were a part of my real life. They were a part of who I was before everything went bad.

My first three periods went by so fast and the next thing I knew, lunch was rolling around and the cafeteria filled up quickly. I was the last one to sit at the crowded lunch table.
