Chapter Twenty-seven

After the long uncomfortable stare from the strange guy, Max showed up. He was surprised to see Tiana, that was the first time she will be visiting him.

Though he wasn't into the relationship it has always been him heading to her place, not the other way around.

He badly wanted to question her visit but at the same time didn't want to embarrass her, so he gestured for her to come in.

"Thanks,” Tiana forced a smile and walks into the condo. The strange guy followed while Max closed the door.

"Aren't you going to offer me a drink?" Tiana asked. She was there in business but she wanted to act normal too.

"Will you have a cup of tea or coffee?" Max asked and with a smile she replied.

"Coffee."

Max disappeared into the kitchen while the stranger kept checking her out, the longer they spent together the more she felt uncomfortable.

"Max is my betrothed you know," She spoke up and the guy raised a questioning brow, why is she informing him?

"And I have no plans of cheat
