******Dress on the bed, shoes on the floor, a glass of red wine on the room table and Nina Simone playing on the stereo system from the living room. Amanda smiled at her reflection while she dressed; she rolled her hair up and brushed up the strands of hair that fell on her face. She opened the drawer she kept her makeup in, took out her a red lipstick and applied it on her sweet lips. Amanda made sure it was perfect, that she looked mesmeric. Then, she took the silver earrings on the dresser and clipped it on her ears.Lying on her bed was a glittering, dark blue dress Elena, her friend in fashion, had sent to her. Amanda picked up the dress and tried it on. She stood a while in front of the mirror admiring the way the gown highlighted every curve on her body, she turned to peek at her back on the mirror and she loved how the blue net behind, was used.
