Chapter 53 : Audre Mehlev

As Amos struggled to avoid making a mess of the bed, Gerard was confronted with something that widens his eyes.

"What did you say?" asked Gerard. He sat opposite a man with brown skin and pierced eyes. They were separated by a low table filled with alcoholic beverages.

"As you heard, I know everything about Dumitrese." Mehlev grinned, knowing his interlocutor would defer to him.

Gerard retorted, "You seem to have someone so loyal to giving you unimportant information."

Mehlev shook his head. "No, I don't. Don't grovel like that. I consider all information important. Especially regarding the special human Dumitrese cultivates. Can you imagine? How the world would be in an uproar if the news were published in the newspaper?"
