“Will you keep coming to our house every day?” Mira asked Enzo as he drove. The last thirty minutes had been hazy. I'd taken a quick shower, gotten dressed, and somehow ended up leaving the house with Enzo and Mira. And Mira? She hadn't stopped talking once. That included her protest about doing her hair before we left for... wherever it was Enzo was taking us. “Do you think I should?” Enzo asked, keeping his eyes on the road, and I glanced at him. I wasn't really listening to their conversation. My mind was somewhere else. I watched him drive, one hand resting on the steering wheel, his calm expression fixed on the road. Then he caught me staring. I quickly turned to the window. “Nick, would you let Enzo come to our house again?” Mira asked from the back seat. I looked at him before answering. “Well... I don't think that's possible,” I said carefully. “Why not?” Mira asked, and I sighed. “Stay quiet, Mira.” The silence in the car grew heavier as we drove. “Then why don't you both come over to my house?” Enzo asked, breaking the silence. Mira gasped while I turned to stare at him. “Really?” she asked excitedly. I looked at her, then back at Enzo. “What are you doing? Why would you ask that?” I asked. He pulled the car over. “My house is big enough for you and Mira,” he said. Then he gently ruffled my hair before getting out of the car. Mira got out too, leaving just me in the car. I scoffed in disbelief, completely speechless after everything that had happened today. Enzo walked over to my side and opened the door. “Aren't you getting out?” he asked. I let out a nervous laugh before stepping out. We walked into a fast-food restaurant and took our seats. Enzo had really listened to Mira. She'd been craving fries and burgers, and he'd brought us here. What the hell is going on? “Have you decided what you want?” Enzo asked, pulling me out of my thoughts. “Oh.” I murmured as my eyes scanned the menu. Why was he doing all this? He had willingly invited Mira and me to his house. And now I was sitting in a fast-food restaurant with my professor. No. He isn't just my professor anymore. What exactly was he to me now? “He'll have this,” Enzo told the waiter. Then he looked at me before turning back to listen to whatever Mira was saying. My head was a mess. I chose him for myself. I was the one who decided I wanted Enzo... right? A few minutes later, the waiter brought our food. As we ate, I could feel Enzo stealing glances at me whenever he had the chance. “How's the waffle?” he asked. “Do you like what I ordered for you?” I gave him a small nod. “Yeah. It's good.” “I need to use the restroom. I'll be back,” Mira said suddenly as she got to her feet. “Do you know where it is? Should I come with you?” I started to ask, but she was already on her way. “What's the matter?” Enzo asked, looking at me. “Huh? What do you mean?” I asked. “You've been zoning out all morning. You haven't been paying attention,” he said. “Is this place not to your liking?” he asked. “It is,” I replied. He simply stared at me. “It really is,” I repeated. “I believe you,” he said softly. “You're just not telling me what's going on in that head of yours.” Silence settled between us for a moment. “My feelings... and whatever is happening between us.” He watched me for a few seconds as I fell quiet before gently ruffling my hair. “You keep doing that. I'm not a kid,” I said. “You aren't.” he replied. “But I have to take care of you like you are mine.” He leaned closer, his voice dropping to a whisper as he slipped his hand on my thigh. “I'll treat you like a baby, but not that kind of baby.“ “I'll drive you to college every day. I'll take you anywhere you want to eat. I'll buy you whatever you want. Just say the word.” “Oh. I would claim you to myself by sticking what's mine into yours.“ My heart started racing the moment he said those words. “What?” I asked in shock, quickly looking around to see if anyone had heard him. “And I'd do it all over again because I chose you.“ He said. “I want to care for you, and that means caring for the people around you too, including Mira.” I felt my ears and cheeks grow warm. He brushed the corner of my mouth with his thumb and looked quietly into my eyes. I couldn't read his expression or tell what was going through his mind. “I want you to come to my house again. I only told Mira that because I wanted an excuse to see you in my house.” He said, and the heat in my ears only grew stronger. His words always got to me. “I'm back,” Mira said as she slipped into her chair. I quickly moved his hand off my thigh before she noticed. “Ah! I suddenly want ice cream,” Mira said. “Well, you're not getting any,” I told her, and she pouted. “Why?” she asked, looking like she was about to cry. Enzo was about to say something when I nudged him under the table with my leg and shook my head. I knew he was about to buy her one, but I had to keep an eye on how many sweets she ate. That was my responsibility. Give her one sweet dessert, and she'd start asking for more. We finished breakfast, and Enzo drove us back home. But going home didn't mean he was leaving. He spent the day with us, playing with Mira before the two of them fell asleep for a nap. He looked so comfortable in our house, and somehow, I felt the same. As he slept, he took my hand in his while I quietly sat beside him and read my book. This. Whatever I was feeling inside... I loved it. I couldn't stop looking at him.LORENZO GRAYSON \ VADIM KERZHAKOV ©We didn't even realize how much time had gone. I looked at Nick as he slept peacefully on the couch. He had fallen asleep while sitting on my lap.I gently brushed the stains from his clothes as he snuggled into my touch. I tucked the hair away from his forehead and placed a soft kiss there. Then I stood up and went back to work. I still had a lot to finish before I had to leave.Suddenly, a phone started ringing. It wasn't mine.I glanced around before walking over to Nick's bag.His phone lit up with "Avery" on the screen. As I picked it up, I noticed he had a long list of missed calls and messages.I was about to put it back when I accidentally answered the call.“Finally! What on earth have you been doing with Grayson?” she asked. My eyes immediately shifted toward the door.Has she seen us?Wasn't the door closed?“You left hours ago, and you haven't answered any of my calls,” she said while I stayed quiet.“I know you're with Grayson right now
LORENZO GRAYSON\ VADIM KERZHAKOV©I couldn't stop.Neither of us wanted to stop. The kiss was intense between us and we weren't ready to stop.I heard Nick moan during the kiss. We couldn't pull away.I loved the taste of his soft lips.I parted his legs and he wrapped them around my back. I positioned my hands on the sides of his head and softly planted kisses on his neck.Soft moans slipped from him as his fingers worked in my hair. Nick was slowly grinding on me without even realizing it.He was clearly trying to suppress his pleasure. My mind went blank. I couldn't think straight.I looked at his face, but he quickly turned away. His cheeks were flushed. One hand covered his mouth while he bit lightly on his thumb.I turned him towards me and took away his thumb before placing a kiss to his lips. His eyes were pleading. I took away the hair from his eyes. Was there anything wrong in admiring his pleading eyes? They had a way of making my dick twitch just by looking at them.He sl
NICK WALKER ©This morning felt different from my usual routine. Most mornings, Mira would always wake me up with endless questions, especially about what we were going to eat.“What do you want to eat today?” I asked as I packed my books into my bag while we got ready for school.“I'm not hungry,” she replied, and I let out a quiet sigh.“You need to eat something before school,” I told her, but she stayed silent.I reached out to her, but she pulled away and picked up her bag.“You should talk to me,” I said with a sigh.“Mira.”“Mira, would you please listen?”She slowly sat on the floor, her face filled with sadness.“I don't want her. I don't want her to be part of this family.”I sat down on the floor across from her.“I never said that. I...” I began, but she cut me off.“I don't even want to meet her. Why did you bring her home?” she asked, her voice about to break down.I sighed and moved closer to her.“No matter what happened, she's still our mum. And it's okay if you don't
NICK WALKER ©I stared out the window while Enzo drove. Mum didn't say a word either as we made our way home. What is the probability Mira would be happy to see Mum?Would she accept her? At least there would finally be someone else to look after her.I pulled Enzo's coat tighter around myself and fidgeted with my fingers.I used to think I'd have so many questions if I ever saw Mum again. But now that she was here, my mind was completely blank.Enzo pulled up in front of the house, and I stepped out. Mum got out too.I stared at the house she had left us behind years ago. I could see the light inside flickering through the window.I felt a hand on my back. I looked up at Enzo and forced a small smile.Mum let out a quiet sigh as she looked at the house.“Everything still looks the same,” she murmured. “Nothing has changed.”I let out a quiet scoff.“Enzo!” Mira shouted excitedly from the window before running out of the house. She rushed past Mum and me and threw her arms around him.
NICK WALKER ©Avery and I finished the exam for the day and walked out of the hall.“Argh! Finally! We're done with today's exam,” Avery said as we walked.“That was exhausting.” She stretched her arms with a groan.“Oh!” She suddenly stopped like she had remembered something.“I forgot to ask,” she whispered into my ear. “What happened to your lip, Nick Walker?”I quickly turned to look at her.“I... I bit my lip accidentally,” I said, and she rolled her eyes.“Liar,” she whispered before walking ahead.I sighed as I watched her.I knew she was definitely going to figure it out.“So, what's for lunch today?” she asked, slowing down so I could catch up with her.“I don't know...” I began, just then, a guy walked up to us interrupting me.“Hey, nerd,” he called.“Someone's outside asking for the famous Nick Walker.”He walked away before I could respond. The famous Nick Walker?I shook my head and walked outside with Avery.“I wonder who's looking for you,” Avery said while I thought a

I had wanted to go to college with Nick.Instead, Alina called and asked me to pick her up.“You don't mind that I asked you to take me to college?” she asked.“Not at all,” I replied.“I already told Papa about you,” Alina said.I glanced at her before looking back at the road.“He's now curious about you, Enzo.”I let out a quiet chuckle.Just then, a message from Nick popped up on my phone, which clipped onto the blades of the car's air vent. “You really seem close to that kid. What's going on between the two of you?” Alina asked.“I like him,” I replied simply. She nodded at first, then slowly turned to look at me.“You don't mean that kind of like... do you?” she asked.I stayed silent. She let out a quiet scoff, clearly unable to believe it.“What on earth are you thinking?” she asked. What was I thinking?I liked Nick Walker.Somehow, our lives had become tangled from the very first day, and neither o
