CHAPTER 44

Maria RUNS to the hospital because of the news that Cindy had an accident. The girl was crying while waiting in the emergency room.

"Nurse, Nurse!" The girl called. "What happened? Why is he in the emergency room?"

"As per the police report, ma'am, they were plowed into by a minibus that lost its brakes under the waiting shed. The police have some of your brother's belongings."

Maria cried when she saw some people running to the hospital. The others are legless, their heads are broken and they are covered in blood.

"Sir! Sir! Where are my sister's things? Her name is Cindy!"

"This is it."

Maria found Cindy's bag and immediately kissed it.

"It looks like these groceries are also his because based on the CCTV he was carrying them while running."

Maria cried even more when she saw her favorite food inside the plastic.

"Sister, what am I going to do?". He cried.

After several hours of Maria waiting, the Doctor came out with Cindy.

"Doc? How is he?"

"He will be taken to the ICU. Besides th
