I yanked the door open just as the person was about ringing it again.

‘’Well finally you answer. I thought I was going to have to break down the door’’ she said frowning. I stood there shocked, taking her appearance entirely, all 5ft and 9 inches of it. Her hair was styled to the side of her face and her lips a bright red lipstick.

‘’Melissa?’’ I asked wondering what she was actually doing here today.

‘’In the flesh. Now are you going to invite me in? I’m freezing my tits off out here.’’ She huffed, squeezing past me and into the house. I followed after her and saw that she was making herself comfortable on the couch and smiling at me that Cheshire grin of hers. I cast a cast towards the hallway and saw that Alexa’s room door was now open. She’s probably eavesdropping on us right now.

I slouched down on the couch opposite from where Melissa sat and sighed ‘’she’s probably half way to china by now if not for the interruption.’’ I sighed again.
