I'd been running through a maze for almost an hour, with no direction to where I was going, I stopped relying on my eyes and rather decided to use my sense of smell.

Hannah's scent was all over the place, as well as Bryan's but there was also a different scent present, a scent of a human.

Were these tunnels playing a trick on me? Why would a human's scent be all the way down here, it wasn't like the pack could tolerate humans, I had read it in their file.

It didn't matter though, I was only here for Hannah, if anyone got in my way, I would cut them down.

I followed the scents which grew stronger, all three of them. I shouldn't have left her alone, I had thought at least she'd be honest with me, what exactly would make her come all the way here, with someone who had hurt her no less?

Whatever her reason was, she would have at least told me, and I would have been a great help to her and offered her protection.

But I guess she didn't trust me that much, did she?
