The beta went to check on pack business while the alpha went inside the conference room upon seeing his mate still sitting there looking deep in thoughts. He pulled a chair and sat next to her. “Nina.” He called for her and she turned her head slowly to look at him then back out the window where she was looking.
“I could not tell you Nina, it was not my place to do so.” He told her but she ignored him like he was not talking to her. “I know you are angry, but I could not say anything, the elder forbade me from saying anything.” She looked at him with anger in her eyes. “I am not angry, but I am mad as hell. You used me to get her to join this pack as soon as you found out who she was right?
