Sofia's face contorted in anguish as she collapsed on the floor, tears streaming down her eyes like a torrent. Her body was paralyzed with shock, and she was dumbfounded, unable to process the revelation.

Her family sobbed around her, their faces etched with grief and regret. Lucas's face was twisted in remorse, tears streaming down his eyes.

"Please forgive me, I had no choice but to do it," he said, his voice cracking with emotion.

Diana's face was a picture of despair, her eyes red and puffy from crying. "Please don't hate us," she sobbed, her body shaking with sobs.
