LOGAN

"It's about time!!"

I snap my head up and around to see King Alpha Axel and Queen Stella walk out of the woods. I face him. When he stops in front of me, I bow slightly, as both King Axel and Queen Stella do as well. I pull myself out of my shock and ask,

"King Alpha Axel, this is a surprise..."

"Good. I wanted to come and witness the challenge between you and your father. Maybe see my daughter at the same time..."

"Well, you have good timing. I plan on challenging my father tomorrow night..."

"And my daughter..."

He looks around before continuing,

"I don't see her. Where is she?"

"My father staged a kidnapping of her by Toby..."

I don't miss Stella's sharp intake of breath at the mention of Toby. I guess there is some sort of history there.

"So at the moment, she is in a rust-covered silver cage, under the guard of Toby and around 50 rogues at any given time..."

Axel growls, "Why haven't you taken her back yet?"

"Because I wasn't ready, but now I am."
