Chapter 116

AURORA

A shiver of fear goes through me anyway, as rogues then surround the cage. A few of them look at me and growl low as their eyes pass over my naked body. I watch as Lincoln stands with Toby next to him, at the front of the pack, which has now grown to over 300 with more still coming.

I jump a little and return my attention back to the rogues that are standing rather close to the cage. I wince a little as one of the few waves of what's left of my heat passes through me. A couple of the rogues move even closer and as the wave that just went through me hits them, they growl really low and move to the door. One reaches up and tries to open the door. I sigh and relax a little as the door doesn't open and I remember that Toby had locked it behind him.

I look up and over the collection of rogues at the sound of a very loud, very powerful howl and see Logan step out of the trees. He is breathing heavily and is covered in blood, but he stands tall, strong, and proud. I smile, knowing t
