Melissa

I watched him put it in his pocket. “You wouldn't be needing this for now,” he told me. I raised my brows, confused. “Why? I always need my phone, give it back!” I held my hands out expectantly.

“I'll give it back later,” he replied, shrugging.

“Well, I don't understand,” I complained, folding my arms over my chest. I really had no idea what he was playing at. “I want it now Logan, I don't care about what you think”

“Fine,” he agreed and reached out for me. I flinched and jumped away as fast as I could. He frowned but he didn't say anything and I didn't know whether he actually understood or if he was simply pretending. I decided not to ask and to take my chances with it.

He dropped the phone on the bed and got up. “I'm going downstairs, I'll send my driver around to pick you up,”

“Wait, you aren't coming?”

“No!” he said matter of factly. He turned around and I saw something flash across his eyes, something very dark and cold, it scared me but also intrigued me. He gave me on

This man in front of me brought back all of them.I hated him.“I knew this lush body could only belong to one person.” The man in front of me purred and reached out to touch my breasts through my dress.I pulled away, cringing at the mere thought of his body against mine. • SORRY, NOT YOURS ANYMORE    The Sex

Melissa"Oh God," I let out a moan I didn't feel as the man began to kiss a line down my throat, hands roaming all over my body. The man mouthed at my exposed cleavage, making a sound of pleasure low in his throat, "God, baby. You taste so good." Of course I did, I had spent over three hours soaking in a scented bath, and layering myself with perfumed oils and body scents. I arched my back as he began to push the thin straps of my dress down my shoulders and arms, till the silk, slip dress pooled to the floor at my feet, leaving me in just red panties and my five inch heels. "Damn," he leered at me, "You're a work of art baby, you know that right?" I ducked my head, feigning shyness when really I just wanted him to get it over with so I could go home. I knew what men like him wanted, they wanted the virginal, innocent, blushing girl vibe, and that was exactly what I'd give him. The man bent his head and took one of my nipples into his mouth. "Hngh," I groaned as he began to suck

Melissa"Dean, you've gotten the promo_" my words died in my throat at the sight before me. I blinked in confusion, wondering whether I was hallucinating, but the vision remained the same. The horrifying vision of my sister and my husband tangled up together in my marital bed. "What the hell is going on here!" I screamed. They didn't even bother jumping apart and showing shock. Instead they took their time pulling away from the kiss, and finally faced me with irritated glares. "What are you doing here?" Dean asked, eyebrows pulled low in annoyance. "W-what am I doing here?" I echoed, feeling like there wasn't enough oxygen in the room, "This is my house." My sister Ellen snorted, "last time I checked, your name isn't on the deed." "Shut up!" I roared at her. "Don't you dare speak to her like that." My husband spat, anger rolling off him. "I don't understand, what's going on?" There was no way it was really what i thought, no way that my husband and my cruel sister were actua

  • SORRY, NOT YOURS ANYMORE    The Proposal

Melissa"I want to speak to Logan Fitzgerald." I said as I stepped up to the front desk. The dark haired secretary took her time, running a mocking gaze over me, from my dirty, wrinkled dress to my cheap shoes, messy hair and ruined make up. I knew I looked crazy, but I didn't care. I was a desperate, heartbroken woman, and I had to make desperate moves. I was homeless, cashless and hopeless. I had no friends because Dean had convinced me that I didn't need them when we got married, and I had a feeling my parents wouldn't be willing to help. I didn't understand why they hated me so much, no matter how much I tried. They showered Ellen with love while treating me like I was a virus. Being with Dean finally made me feel loved for the first time in my life, but it turned out that it was all a beautiful illusion. "Do you have an appointment?" She sneered. "Can you just tell him that Mrs. Garrett wants to see him?" Even calling myself that name made me feel like retching. "I see that

Melissa. "Mrs. Melissa Fitzpatrick." I muttered under my breath. I stared at the ring on my finger, still in shock from everything that had happened in the past few hours. I couldn't believe I'd gone from married to divorced to married again in the span of a day. My life was really one big mess. "We're here," my new husband said from my side. I glanced up, only just realizing that the car had pulled to a stop. I'd barely had time to sign the five year marriage contract and redo my mascara before Logan had dragged me to his car and informed me that we had somewhere to be. "Oh wow," I exclaimed as I stepped down from the car and stared at the magnificent building before me. "Come on," he said impatiently, heading for the stairs leading up to the large front doors. Inside the building was just as perfect as the outside, with glittering chandeliers, dark green curtains, and thick rugs, expensive paintings and pottery. I trailed after Logan, too distracted to take note of the voices

  • SORRY, NOT YOURS ANYMORE    The Media

Melissa The next morning, Richard had sent my things over and I was supposed to meet up with him later.I woke up to no sign of Logan by my side and I was glad I had the room to myself.I had my bath and got out of the bathroom with a towel wrapped around my body, my hair was still wet. The room smelled like lavender. It was my favorite smell.I moved the towel to my waist, my back turned to the door while I applied some lotion over my body. The door opened with full force but I wasn't fast enough to wrap myself up with the towel. When I turned to look at the intruder, his eyes were wide, almost comically so and he looked down at me. I felt bare even though I now had a towel over me.His eyes moved from my wet hair cascading on my shoulders and then slowly made their way downwards. His lips parted slightly. My skin tingled as if it was covered in goosebumps all over. I blushed. “Hello,” I squeaked out, my cheeks burning red. What was wrong with me?“I wasn't expecting you, I though

MelissaI felt ashamed that she had caught us in that position but my mind was already focused on something else. This woman was so fucking beautiful. Why didn't he want her?“What is this news I hear? What madness is this Logan?” Her tone was harsh but her words seemed soft, almost as if she was trying to convince herself.“And you, I knew you were trouble from the first time I saw you in his office. Don't you have any shame? Logan and I have been together for more than five years!” Dahlia said furiously, her eyes fixed on me. She took a deep breath and then looked back at Logan.“So it was all for this,” she accused him. I couldn't believe what was happening in the room. “You deceived me, used me, led me on only to be with this slut?” Her tone sounded angry and bitter.I bit my lip.“I didn't lead you on. I called it off and you refused to move on,” Logan was no longer above me. He was now standing casually, looking at the woman in front of him.“And I will not have you call my wi

MelissaThe pain was immediate and excruciating but I kept myself together. I didn't cry, I didn't move, I didn't react. Not for long anyway. It was a good thing that I had learned self-control. “Mother!” Logan yelled angrily. He walked up to his mother and pulled her away from me. “Now you listen to me, that isn't what happens. You don't get to hit her, you don't have a say in this!”“Logan, let go of your mother this minute!” Mr Fitzgerald screeched. “I don't have the patience to deal with your temper tantrums.”“She is nothing but a common prostitute,” Mrs Fitzgerald chirped in. “Why would you protect her.”“I'm not! Don't talk about me like this, especially when I also have the power to make and break your company. You want to be a part of my grandfather's company. My rejection wouldn't hurt you now but we all know you'd barely survive. Don't push me!” My voice was raw, filled with rage and anger, as my emotions were overflowing. I didn't realize it but I was holding back sobs.

  • SORRY, NOT YOURS ANYMORE    Now Mrs Fitzgerald

Melissa“We are getting married!” Logan announced confidently and the room fell silent. It was typical of him to always have such power over everyone. His aura commanded everyone’s attention with ease, a fact he was very aware of and loved it about himself. But right now he could only focus on one person in that room, so when he looked at Richard, he saw hostility. I am sure of this because that was what I saw.Richard began to chuckle, it was empty and sounded like nails on a chalkboard, which made me more nervous.“Is this some sort of joke?”“No Sir, we were engaged before we lost contact, tell him, Melissa”I was too frozen to speak but in the secrecy of my heart I was glad he had used the term “Engaged” instead of “Married”. That would have complicated things more.Everyone was waiting for me to say something. If I didn't affirm, Logan would keep to his threats, I knew him too well.“It’s the truth Grandfather,” I said with all the dignity possible. Richard’s head turned towards
