One thing that Celine had missed amongst all the rather suffocating schedule. The dinner with the Ambassador where most of the guests were influential businessmen in Manhattan, as well as some government officials who had authority in many matters.

"I just remembered that event." Celine tapped her forehead with a puzzled look.

"Why are you worried? I've already prepared your dress and everything for you to attend the event." Karen looked at Celine with astonishment.

"On the same day, Jacob invited me to attend an equally important meeting." Celine rested her head on the dining table. Her eyes glazed listlessly at the dishes in front of her. "Both events are very important and... gosh, why do they have to coincide?"
