“Is that it? I told you, that’s too boring,” he complained in the middle of the movie. He never runs out of a side comment for almost every scene. I just ignore his words; I’m enjoying this movie.

I picked up my phone from the table and opened its camera. I took a picture of the screen. I will upload this later in my story.

I couldn’t help but giggle at a funny scene on the screen. I heard him sigh beside me.

“You’re laughing at that? It’s so corny,” he commented again, as if I were interested in his opinion.

“You just have no sense of humor,” I retorted.

A few minutes of silence passed between us. I was focused on the movie while munching on popcorn. I didn’t share it with him because I didn’t want to, even though he shared his food with me earlier, which he cooked himself, by the way.

“You seem to enjoy it very well,” he said after a while.

“You’d really enjoy it if you were watching it.”
