“Do you think this suits me?” he asked as he pointed at the polo shirt.

We were now in a boutique. This was the first store we checked out when we got to the mall. We had gone around a few times now but still hadn’t picked a thing. He had been asking me over and over if it suited him, and I kept snapping back with sarcastic answers.

“Fitting room exists, Kayden. There’s also a mirror there. Ask yourself the same question.”

He could wear anything and still look good. Even a ripped shirt would probably look like a fashion trend if he wore it. Maybe it’s not about the clothes at all—it’s about the one wearing them.

He grabbed the shirt and headed for the fitting room. Moments later, he came back out with a lot of clothes in his hands that I could only stare at, jaw hanging open.
