CHAPTER TEN

Elena lounged in her room, gazing through the window that offered a serene view of the Cabin's backyard. A larger pool sat just beyond, and she could make out a lone figure floating languidly in its depths. The man appeared to be asleep, his head reclined and his arms outstretched to their furthest limits. Elena wondered if it was the receptionist taking a leisurely dip.

"How can a receptionist be so carefree?" She asked rhetorically, wondering why the receptionist would just sleep off, forgetting that he was to resume his duties that day.

Elena felt a bit pissed and decided to make the man resume his office. She went ahead to knock on Ezekiel's room door.

"Come in" his deep voice filled the air.

"Um, I think there's someone in the pool sleeping. Will that be okay?"
