BE A GOOD GIRL

Andre wiped the blood off his jacket to hide his injury and concealed his gun. Slowly, he walked into the hospital premises. A young woman who appeared to be a doctor caught his attention. He overheard her giving a presentation, which seemed unusual.

Coincidentally, the person she was presenting to asked her what she would do if she encountered a patient who had been shot.

He listened intently as she explained her approach, and the person she was presenting to responded, "Good, you're hired."

An idea suddenly occurred to him. He wanted to convince her to go with him, but he knew she wouldn't. She seemed so excited, and he didn't think she would want to go with him willingly.

Left with no other choice, he decided that he was going to take her by force. He saw her rushing out to the gate and slowly walked towards her. He pointed his gun at her and said, "Don't move."

When she saw him, she gasped in fear and wanted to scream, but he cocked his gun and said, "One word from you and you will die right in front of me."

"Please don't kill me," she begged. "Please, I'm begging you."

"I will not kill you. Just do what I want and I will let you live."

"What do you want?" she asked.

"I am bleeding, I have been shot," he replied. "I need you to treat me."

"Okay then, let's go into the hospital. I will treat you."

"No, we're not doing that. You are coming with me."

"But please I....."

"I don't have much time, move."

She began to walk slowly as her hand shivered. He opened the door of his car and said, "Get in."

She looked at him, "But I'm not really good at driving."

"I'm not asking you to drive. Move to the other side."

The moment she moved to the other side, he got into the driver's seat, closed the door, and locked it. He began to drive with one hand while pointing his gun at her with his other hand.

"Please," she begged him. "I just got this job. I have wanted it all my life. Please don't ruin it for me."

"Shut the hell up," he warned. He took off his jacket and said, "Look at my wound. I am bleeding. Since you're good at treating gunshot wounds, all I need you to do is treat this for me. Don't worry. Once I get better, no matter which hospital you want to work in, I will make your dreams come true?"

"What is your name?"

"Valerie," she replied.

"Be a good girl, Valerie. You don't want to die, right?"

She nodded.

"How old are you?"

"I am twenty-two," she replied.

"Not bad. It means you know what you're doing. Now listen, there are some bad men coming after me, and I do not have much time left. Save my life and you will walk away free and unscathed."

"Okay, I will save your life, I promise," she said.

"Good," he replied. He kept driving and when they got to a traffic light, she tried to look through the transparent window.

Although it was wound up, she could see some officers. She thought about calling for help, but Andre, pointing a gun at her, suddenly pressed it against her ribs and warned, "Don't even think about it. If you raise an alarm, they will kill me or stop me, but you will also die. I will make sure I put three bullets into you, and no one will save you. I think being a doctor, you should understand the implication of that."

"No, I'm not going to raise an alarm. I was just looking," she replied nervously.

"Good," he said. When the traffic lights turned green, he continued driving. They kept going until they finally arrived at their destination. He checked the time and realized it had been over an hour. He didn't know if they were still being followed or if they would be discovered, but he couldn't leave the car there. It was too risky.

He got out of the car, went to the other side, and pointed the gun at her. At this point, he was feeling dizzy, and his hands were trembling. "Move, don't try anything funny. If you do, I'm going to kill you."

"Please don't point the gun at me," she begged. "I will do whatever you want."

She started moving in the direction he indicated. After a while, he shot at the vehicle until it burst into flames.

She stared at the burning car in shock, "Why did you do that? How am I supposed to go back now?"

"Don't worry. As long as you save me, you will go back alive," he reassured her.

She nodded, and he kept the gun pointed at her as they proceeded. When they reached the entrance, she noticed it was made of hard metal and one could easily mistake it for a warehouse.

He entered a password, and the door opened.

"Get in," he instructed. She complied, and he followed suit. They continued down what seemed like a hallway until they reached another door. He entered another password, making sure she couldn't see, and the second door opened.

"Get in," he commanded again and she entered the room.

The moment they entered and the door closed, Andre collapsed on the floor. The gun slipped from his hand, and she quickly picked it up and pointed it at him.

He laughed weakly, "You don't know how to use that. Listen to me, Valerie. If I die here, you're going to be trapped in this place for the rest of your life. I am the only one who can open this door.

It cannot be opened from the outside by anyone else. Also, if you're thinking you can call someone for help, there is no signal or means to connect with the outside world.

It is in your best interest to save my life, otherwise, you will be trapped here, and you will die with me. So, what is it going to be, Valerie?"
