Muscular strength would be useless if the mind is chaotic and the soul is sick. Therefore, on the first day, Hudde taught Brockley spiritual knowledge so that he would be better prepared mentally to deal with the pressures around the palace.

"Sit cross-legged. Close your eyes. Just listen to the sound of birds chirping and leaves rustling. Empty your mind and focus. Eliminate whatever is going through your mind. Calm your heart."

Brockley did as Hudde instructed, although it was a little difficult at first because within a few seconds, there were several things that came to mind, and there were also sounds ringing in his ears.
