Derek Stygian’s stripper's club was bathed in a deep red light. The kind that makes everything look darker than it really was. Shadows moved along the walls as slow music played through hidden speakers, the bass low and steady like a heartbeat.

The air felt hot with sin, heavy with smokes of their cigarettes, filled with sweat of the male strippers and the tables were filled with expensive alcohol.

Not everyone in the city was allowed into Stygian's secret cult. Only those who are ready to sell their soul for discretion are allowed in.

At the center of the room, a man with perfect muscles and fat ass moved around the pole with smooth control. His almost naked body spun around the pole as he blended with the slow music.

Stygian himself watched the guy as he moved with slow and practiced confidence. Sitting carelessly on the velvet sofa, nothing concerned him with the dude between his legs, sucking his cock. His focus was on the stage because that was where all the pleasure came from.

Some of his acquaintances sat on other sofas, close enough to see the stage but far enough to distance themselves from Derek Stygian’s sin, as they usually call it.

Every night, different men were brought into the club. According to him, no one was forced in but when it was time to leave, it was impossible. Some came to dance, some came to party, some came to get high, while some came to please Stygian.

When it comes to pleasing Derek Stygian, it is impossible. Why? Because he was never impressed. No matter how to swallow, lick, suck or fuck him, nothing could move his heart. Aside that, he never fucked a man twice.

As his right hand man would say, “If he ever glances at you twice, consider yourself privileged.”

“Boss,” Paulo, his right hand man, interrupted his view.

Slowly, Derek moved his gaze to Paulo. “What?”

“The dealer just called. He said he can't make it tonight,” Paulo explained as he turned the screen of his phone to Derek's face.

If there are people Derek hates aside from his parents, it's dishonest people. He believes dishonesty is devious and should be dealt with seriously.

He dropped the cigarette on the ashtray. Then tap the guy's head to stop sucking him.

“At this point, you will suck me dry,” he told the guy as he zipped his pants.

“It will be my pleasure,” the guy replied, licking the dripping fluid on his lips.

“Get the fuck out!” Derek commanded and the guy left immediately.

He turned to Paulo, “settle him. I don't want to see him here again.”

“Settled,” Paulo said.

“As you were saying, what happened to the dealer?” Derek asked.

“He said his mother is ill,” Paulo answered.

Derek poured himself a drink.“You know what else I hate aside from sob stories?” He asked, rhetorically.

Paulo didn't respond. Instead, he stood straight, watching Derek as he sip his drink. After slurping his drink, Derek continued.

“I hate when mothers are ill.”

“I haven't confirmed if his mother is ill as he claimed,” Paulo interjected.

He knew what Derek could do if the mother was really ill. Derek could help the dealer by ending his mother's life so he could focus on business. That's how ruthless Derek was.

“Are you saying he lied?” Derek asked.

Paulo knew what Derek was trying to do. If the dealer had lied, it would be hell for him. So whichever answer Paulo gives, the dealer’s punishment is inevitable.

But Paulo wasn't a novice when it came to Derek's tricks. He has been working for Derek for over twenty years now. He knows how to manoeuvre Derek's emotions.

So Paulo said, “When I confirm, I'll let you know.”

“Why should I wait for you to confirm?” Derek spat. “Do you think I haven't noticed your recent tricks?”

“What are you talking about?” Paulo asked, adjusting the collar of his shirt.

Derek rose from the sofa, adjusted his suit before taking a step towards Paulo.

“I haven't punished anyone in a while now. You think I haven't noticed that those rats keep escaping my wrath.”

Paulo lifted his chin so he could stand squarely with Derek. With Derek, showing weakness is a sign of guilt. If he was guiltless, he had to remain courageous, even in the face of Derek's wrath.

“Maybe those rats are doing the right thing now,” Paulo said, confidently.

“What about the one that came by last night? I told you I didn't want to see him again but he was here, trying to get into my pants, again.”

“You don't have to worry about small rats like him,” Paulo said, calmly. “I'm here to settle those kinds of issues so you can focus on the real deal.”

Derek laughed. The humourless kind of laugh. He took a step back, giving Paulo enough space to breathe.

“What about this one?” Derek asked, pointing at Paulo's phone. “Will you take care of it too?’

“If it doesn't require your attention, I'll handle it quietly,” Paulo replied.

“I'm starting to think you are my boss, Paul,” Derek said, tapping his shoulder lightly.

“I’ll keep doing my job as your personal assistant.”

“Then get me another dealer tonight. I can't leave my guests unentertained,” Derek said, pointing at the people around him.

“What if we manage the things we have on ground until we find another dealer?” Paulo suggested.

“What if you fucking do what I asked you to do and fucking keep your opinion to yourself?” Derek spat.

“Understood, boss,” Paulo said, apologetically.

“And bring me a good guy. The other one was bathing my dick with his saliva,” Derek said before turning away.

Derek walked through the club, the music became a background noise as his presence filled the place. Some of the guys trembled, not out of fear. They trembled because they know whenever Derek takes a stroll in the club, he is looking for prey for the night.

Whoever he picks would be fortunate because he gets to spend time with the devil himself. But at the same time, it would be unfortunate because that might be his last night in the club.

Once Derek is done with you, the club is done with you.

“You!” Derek pointed at a guy in the corner.

At first, nobody moved. But when he flashed them his deadly glare, a bald guy with full muscles came to him.

“What is your job here?” Derek asked.

“One of the strippers,” the guy answered.

“Interesting,” Derek nodded. “Now, get your things and follow me.”

That was it. Once you hear that command, you know what comes next. The bald guy understood and immediately, he went back to get his things.

Derek didn't wait for him. Instead he continued his leisure walk. Tonight, he had another plan. He didn't need one man, he needed two or three for his wild desires.

Raine walked around the mall with confidence. Someone might mistake her as the owner of the place or a celebrity. Paulo, on the other hand, looked like he would rather be anywhere else.“Remind me again why I’m here,” he muttered, walking a step behind her.Raine didn’t even turn as she responded. “Because you agreed to take me shopping.”“I didn’t agree,” Paulo corrected. “You forced it.”“Same difference.”“It’s not.”Raine finally glanced back at him, smiling.“You’re still here, aren’t you?”“Unfortunately,” Paulo exhaled sharply. She laughed. “You complain too much.”“And you talk too much.”“Yet here we are,” she said lightly, pushing open the glass door of a high-end clothing store.Reluctantly, Paulo followed.Raine’s eyes lit up as she saw the collection of dresses. She moved through the racks with ease, her fingers brushing against fabrics, pulling out pieces, holding them up against herself, judging, selecting.Paulo stood by the entrance for a moment, watching her. Then s

Morning crept in quietly. He didn't need an alarm, he didn't need noise. He didn't need rushing footsteps or distant traffic to wake him up. Just a soft wash of light slipping through the curtains was enough to stir him awake. The slow awareness pulled him out of his sleep, and he just laid there like nothing in the world had gone wrong the night before. Then the memory hit him sharp and unforgiving. Barbie, the shouting, the broken things, and Derek, the author of the confusion. Lewis’s eyes snapped open.He sat up slightly, running a hand over his face, already feeling the weight of it all pressing down on him again.“What a good morning,” he muttered under his breath. He swung his legs off the bed, still half-dazed, his mind trying to catch up with his body. But then, he noticed someone was already in the room, leaning casually against the wall, watching him. Derek.Lewis froze, thinking he was still dreaming. He closed his eyes, and opened it again, but Derek was still there,

“She'll lead you to your room,” Paulo said, gesturing towards the housekeeper in the background. Lewis didn't bother to argue anymore. He just wanted to be done with everything that connected him to Derek. But the more he tried to break loose, the more he got intertwined with him. The hallway was quiet as he moved. He didn’t speak. He didn’t ask questions. He just walked. The housekeeper moved ahead of him at a steady pace. She didn’t look back, didn’t try to start a conversation. It was as if she understood that silence was exactly what he needed. Finally, they stopped in front of a door.“This will be your room for the night, sir,” she said politely, stepping aside.Lewis nodded faintly. “Thank you.”She opened the door and gestured for him to enter.Lewis stepped into the perfect room. Everything inside was displayed as if it was just prepared for him. “Dinner will be brought to you if you need it,” the housekeeper said. “I’m fine,” he replied quietly. She nodded once and left

Lewis didn’t remember the drive. All he knew was that his hands had been tight on the steering wheel, his jaw was clenched, and his thoughts ran in circles that all led back to one name.Derek.By the time he pulled up in front of the mansion, his anger hadn’t cooled. If anything, it became hotter. The gate opened without question. That alone irritated him more because it felt like they had expected him to show up… Like he was already part of something he never agreed to.He parked roughly, stepping out of the car, barely containing his frustration. His steps were quick and uneven, driven more by his anger. The door opened before he could knock, and the staff stepped aside silently, letting him in.That annoyed him too. Everything about this place annoyed him. He thought he wouldn't have a reason to come back there. He thought he was done with everything that concerned Derek. But Derek clearly didn't get it. And his house? It was too quiet and calm for someone who had just cause

  • STYGIAN    Chapter 43

For days, Lewis had buried himself in work. He did everything to occupy his mind from thinking about Barbie. From calling, texting or visiting her. Despite his ever present self at work, he was asked to go home. They actually begged him to take a leave from work. Reluctantly, he went home and forced himself to sleep. Even in sleep, his body didn’t fully relax, like it was waiting for something to go wrong. And it did.A loud bang shattered the quiet, jerking him awake. For a moment, he didn’t know where he was. His eyes struggled to adjust, his mind slow and foggy as the sound echoed again. Instantly, his heart began to race. Was he about to be robbed? He wondered as he struggled to push himself out of bed. But before he could successfully get out, the door burst open with a loud slam. Faster than his mind could work, he sprinted toward the door. And there she was with eyes blazing with fury, standing there, breathing hard as if she had just lifted a heavy load. Lewis rubbed hi

The mall was alive with conversations from every corner. Their voices overlapped as everyone talked at once. Soft music played in the background through hidden cameras. And the sharp rhythm of the ladies' heels clicked on the polished floor as they went from roll to roll. Barbie walked at the center of the mall like she belonged there. Her confidence and polished presence drew attention without her even trying. Two of her friends walked beside her, both equally dressed for attention, their arms filled with shopping bags that swung lightly with each step they took.“Wait, wait…no,” one of them said, laughing. “That bag is not worth that price.”“It is,” Barbie replied, flipping her hair slightly. “You just don’t understand quality.”“Or you just like expensive things,” the other teased.Barbie smirked. “Same difference.”They stopped in front of a glass display, the reflection of their perfectly curated appearances staring back at them.“That one,” Barbie said, pointing at the red ba

Lewis woke to pain.A sharp, pounding headache throbbed behind his eyes, each beat echoing through his skull like someone was hammering from the inside. The news about his grandmother had ruined his mood completely. He was in the middle of reviewing some accounts when Paulo rushed in that day, explaining that the old woman had fainted and that paramedics had taken her away. Night had settled quietly over the mansion when Lewis woke up from his nap. It wasn't his intention to fall asleep but the gawking eyes watching him shot invisible lasers of sleeping pills. There's no threat Lewis hasn't tried. There's no excuse he hasn't given. But nothing worked on Paulo. It was as if Paulo had become temporarily deaf to his voice. Finally, the black car slowed as the tall gates of the mansion slid open. The place was enormous, far bigger than Lewis's imagination.
