Chapter Nine

As I entered the exclusive VIP room, I heard some noise, unpleasant to the ear. Just then, the sound of laughter filled the air, although the beauty of the place drew my attention in a captivating manner, I couldn't deny the fact that it was beautiful.

With further steps inward, my happiness quickly turned into disapproval as the room became filled with thick tobacco smoke, assaulting my senses with its acrid smell. It has a choking smell that can cease one's breath. I wasn't used to it and couldn't take more of it, how were they able to stay in a room filled with it?

A cough escaped my lips, causing the room to fall into an eerie silence. The laughter and noise I heard from the background ceased immediately yet, the smoke was making it difficult to breathe or see clearly. I seemed to know what was going on.

Curiosity sparked within me as I wondered about the nature of the place, what practice must be going on. "I hope I was directed to the right place"
